Let’s Get You On Board!We’ve developed an onboarding process to ensure that youare properly welcomed to eMetric and are providedguidance and support to help you reach your potential as ahigh performing member of our eMetric family.This process aims to get you acclimated to your new job, yournew work environment, and your new coworkers. We knowthis does not happen in a day, or a week, or even amonth. We’ve designed our onboarding process to becompleted over your first year at eMetric!Our onboarding process was built around the four buildingblocks of onboarding recognized by the Society for HumanResource Management (SHRM): Compliance, Clarification,Culture, and Connection. You will find each block detailed ina separate section below. Specific checklists for differentaspects of the process are included in the final section.
ComplianceThis is the most basic part of our onboarding process and ensuresyou are aware of company expectations and policies, as well aslegal obligations. It starts with an orientation on your first day. We will arrange an arrival time for your first day in advance, via email. The office manager will greet you in Suite 170 on your first day. You’ll begin your orientation right away! The office manager will introduce you to your mentor (more on this later!) and give you an office tour. On your first day you will also review office procedures and policies and be provided basic training on company technologies and other resources. The office manager will discuss our onboarding process and ensure that you are well aware of what to expect over your first 90 days at eMetric. Company policies include both HR and Security policies. HR Policies. The office manager will discuss HR specific policies with you and provide supporting documentation. Security Policies. Our IT Specialist will share crucial information about our security policies and safeguards. We have established administrative, physical, and technical safeguards. We deal with highly sensitive and secure data every single day (lots of it!) making these policies key to our business.
