CENTRAL 01 REGION
23 Jan 2020 – ‘Program Keselamatan Jalan Raya Sempena Tahun Baru Cina 2020’ was held at Retread Plant, SILS P. Klang. The objective of the program was to encourage the public and Swift personnel to check their vehicles voluntarily, give exposure and raise awareness on the importance of vehicle inspection and maintenance especially to those of drivers/road users. More than 40 cars were inspected during the event 3
23 Jan 2020 – Inspection was carried out on 24 PMs Sunvisor at Gate 3, Port Klang which focused on PM cleanliness, tidiness (incl. sunshade, rim cover, tinted and sticker). As this initiative has just started, violators were given verbal warning first (awareness session) Untidy Dashboard 21 Jan 2020 – Pulau 18 Jan 2020 – Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Indah Warehouse free Training Program (Reach Truck) was conducted at LTI hours in 2019 was Warehouse Pulau Indah, attended by 4 warehouse celebrated to appreciate personnel staffs & workers who contributed to such good performance. The session was attended by Senior Manager warehouse, GHSEQ reps & warehouse staffs 4
19 Feb 2020 – HSEQ Committee is a one (1) of the requirements as per OSH Act 1994 i.e. for companies that employ 40 or more workers. The training was conducted by GHSEQ Executive, Nazirul Izzat at SILS P. Klang Training Room 13 Feb 2020 – Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices (GDPMD) is implemented at SILS Pulau Indah Warehouse as to ensure quality of medical devices are maintained throughout the distribution network etc 02 Mar 2020 – 2019 GDPMD Management Review meeting was held at Level 2 Meeting Room, SILS Port Klang with all its committee members. It is to evaluate, review and monitor the effectiveness of GDPMD Quality Management System and associated processes against national laws, industry standards and bus5iness requirements
04 Mar 2020 – The purpose of the audit was for annual fire insurance renewal at Pulau Indah warehouse 20 & 21 Jan, 17 & 26 Feb and 16 Mar 2020 – HSE rep joining toolbox briefing is on monthly basis at both warehouses (Port Klang and Pulau Indah) 6
20 Jan & 19 Feb 2020 – Inspection at PKA warehouse for racking, loading bay and surrounding warehouse condition 16 Jan 2020 – ‘Teh Tarik’ 20 Jan 2020 – The training was organized by PCML session; where Group HSEQ and Driver Trainer interacted at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) with drivers to remind them why safety is very important 7 and shared on accident statistics and lesson learnt of previous accidents occurred in Swift Group
02 Mar 2020 – A roll call was conducted at Swift Haulage Multipurpose Hall to staffs and pilots focused on PCML project – journey management, personnel safety, attitude and attendance 11, 27 & 28 Feb 2020 – An internal training was held at SILS Port Klang. The objectives were to introduce and sharing knowledge of RTOG modules and to ensure personnel involved with PCML project understand on the requirements 12 & 13 Mar 2020 – A Basic Occupational First Aid (BOFA), CPR and AED Competency training was held at Training Room, SILS Port Klang which was conducted by Academy of Safety and Emergency Care Sdn Bhd (ASEC). A total of 25 staffs from Swift Group of Companies in Central region8attended the training
28 Feb & 31 Mar 2020 12, 13 & 21 Feb 2020 – Prime Mover – A drug and alcohol (PM) Inspection was done by HSE reps, test was conducted at HRA rep, Driver Trainer and Command PKA warehouse. 3 Centre personnel at Gate 3, Port Klang personnel were tested, and Swift Haulage Port Klang. 62 PMs and all were found were inspected negative 25 Feb 2020 – A drug test was conducted at Swift Haulage Meeting Room where 18 pilots were tested, and all results were negative 06 Jan, 12 & 20 Feb and 5 Mar 2020 – Toolbox briefings were held at Training Room, Swift Haulage and Tanjong Express Malaysia, Bukit Beruntung Yard, led by Driver Trainer and Command Centre personnel
05 Jan 2020 – Training was held at Swift Haulage Port Klang targeting new pilots to familiarize them with Actros prime mover functions. 16 Mar 2020 – A briefing on Covid-19 09 Mar 2020 – A briefing was held at was conducted at Swift Haulage Training Swift Haulage Training Room to 15 pilots Room attended by 19 pilots. The for them to be aware and understand the objective was to communicate on the RTOG requirements latest Covid-19 situation in Malaysia and preventive actions to be taken 16 Mar 2020 – Body temperature check was done on the same day of Covid-19 briefing as to ensure staffs were free from any symptoms of the disease 11
08 Jan & 13 Mar 2020 – Toolbox briefings were done at Gate 3, Port Klang 15 Jan 2020 – Random drug test was conducted at Gate 3, Port Klang office where 15 personnel were tested. 07 Jan 2020 – Inspection on safety equipment in the prime mover was done at Tanjong Express Bukit Beruntung (TEBB) Yard to 10 drivers and 2 staffs 18 Jan, Throughout Feb 2020 – Drug test was conducted at TEBB to ensure staff and drivers were free from drug. 4 drivers were tested and all results were negative. 17 Jan 2020 – HSE Committee Meeting was held at TEBB Throughout Jan 2020 – A campaign was held as to educate staff on the right way to use face mask
09 Mar 2020 – A program organized by TEBB HR and HSEQ by inviting PERKESO Rawang Branch. It was 23 Jan, 4 Feb & 30 Mar attended by 20 staffs 2020 – Induction program and 10 drivers. Its was conducted to new objective was to ensure drivers i.e. 13 of them.
