GHSEQ ISSUE 4 BULLETIN 2020 Malaysian Government’s Standard Operating Procedure RTK-Antigen (swab test) for foreign workers 15th Jan 2021 - COVID-19 screening program for foreign workers was conducted at SILS Port Klang. Out of 45 foreign workers, 36 of them attended the swab test. All results were negative. This test was following government’s directives that employers in every sector must have their foreign workers screened for Covid-19. This was enforced under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Disease Act 1988 (Act 342) in effort to curb the spread of the pandemic. This directive is applicable to all foreign workers in the state of Selangor, W.P. Kuala Lumpur and Labuan, Negeri Sembilan, Penang, and Sabah and it was compulsory RTK-Antigen swab test. This enforcement came after a risk assessment by the Ministry of Health Malaysia found that the risk of infection was higher among foreign workers than the locals. Container Connections (M) Sdn Bhd (CCD) RT-PCR (swab test) for CCD staff 29th Jan 2021 – Second swab test for CCD staff was conducted at SILS Port Klang, targeting 20 pax and all of them were present for the test. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program GHSEQ collaborated with Islamic Relief Malaysia for a CSR initiative 15th Dec 2020 – CSR is an important platform through which we can give back to communities, benefiting them at the same time enhancing our brand. Despite the movement control order, GHSEQ was adamant to make this happened and had organized it. Some pre-loved clothing, unused electrical appliances, soft toys, books, shoes and bags were collected to be given to the needy. Environmental Campaign Recycle Used Cooking Oil Campaign Continuous campaign since Aug 2020 - Objective is to get staff to do their part for the goodness of environment. Used Cooking Oil is collected from SILS, Swift Haulage Northport & Q-Team canteen/café. All staffs are encouraged to contribute by bringing used cooking oil to the office to be kept in the drum. Warehouse Activities (Port Klang – PKA & PKB) Fogging & larviciding services 26th Oct 2020 – GHSEQ has engaged a pest control service provider to conduct fogging activity for dengue prevention. Emergency Response Procedures & Chemical Spill Management 27th Oct 2020 – An internal briefing on emergency response procedures & chemical spill management was given to PKA staff & general workers as part of capability building. Workplace Cleaning Day 2nd Oct 2020 – GHSEQ had organized a cleanliness activity i.e. ‘Workplace Cleaning Day’ at SILS Port Klang involving all business units. Warehouse Activities (Port Klang – PKA & PKB) BASF Warehouse Safety Assessment 1st Oct 2020 – The assessment was conducted by O- BASF for DG products at both PKA & PKB warehouse. It involved safety questionnaires, document sighting and site inspection. Online Training On Chemical Spill Management 18th – 19th Nov 2020 – The two-day training was conducted online by external trainer. Two warehouse staff (PKA) and two GHSEQ staff attended it. Warehouse Activities (PKA, PKB & Pulau Indah) Briefing on Daily Sanitization 16th Nov 020 – GHSEQ has conducted a briefing on daily sanitization procedures & measurement of chemical used for sanitization to Pulau Indah warehouse staff and cleaners. Equipment Inspection 23rd Nov 2020 – GHSEQ rep conducted equipment inspection involving scissor lift, power pallet and forklift. The inspection was to ensure its good condition & validity of permit. Result indicated that MHE was in good condition and scissor lift’s permit (PMA) was still valid. Toolbox Briefings 23rd & 24th Nov, 9th Dec 2020, 18th & 19th Jan 2021 – The briefings were held at Central Warehouse (PKA, PKB, Hermo & Pulau Indah) and attended by warehouse personnel including general workers together with launching of Q4 campaign ‘Speak Up If It’s Not Safe For You or Others’. 7 Swift Group Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (GHSEQ)

Road Transport Safety (RTS) Activities Toolbox Briefings Throughout Oct & Nov 2020 - Safety briefings were conducted by Central Driver Trainer at TESJ, TEMPK, SH Westport, SH Northport, TEMBB and Trinity to remind drivers and staff on hazard in the workplace, safe work practices and defensive driving key points. Road Transport Safety (RTS) Activities Drug & Alcohol Screening Throughout Oct & Nov 2020 – Drug screening was to ascertain whether or not a person consumed drugs. Road Transport Safety (RTS) Activities Behaviour Observation System (BOS) 9th Oct, 9th,, 19th, 23rd Nov 2020 – Driver Trainers conducted BOS to drivers randomly in Central Region. Driver Competency and Technical Training (DCTT) 20th Oct, 19th & 20th Nov 2020 – DCTTs were held at SILS Port Klang and Swift Haulage Westport covering drivers from Sentiasa Hebat and Swift Express. Road Hazard Mapping (RHM) & Trailer Inspection for KLK’s Drivers 12th Nov 2020 – RHM & trailer inspection for KLK’s drivers (10 drivers), as part of KLK’s requirements. Retread Plant Toolbox Briefings 24th Nov & 17th Dec 2020 – Toolbox briefings were conducted at retread plant by sharing lesson learnt on ‘Forklift without driver hit the warehouse racking’ and distributing of Stop Work bunting campaign. The purpose of the campaign was to: 1. Encourage staff to implement safety rules and STOP work if unsafe 2. Never look the other way when an unsafe act or condition takes place 3. Noise Risk Assessment at SPMS PNGV 27th Oct 2020 – Risk assessment & evaluation related to safety & health was conducted at Sungai Petani Mother Station. Drug & Alcohol Screening 28th Oct 2020 – Conducted at Tronoh Mother Station, the screening was done to three (3) staff. Their results were negative. Toolbox, SHM & RHM Briefings 1st, 8th and 14th Oct 2020 – Toolbox, site hazard mapping (SHM) and road hazard mapping (RHM) were held at Bukit Kemuning, Kerteh and Sungai Petani Mother Station. Safety Campaign 19th Nov 2020 – A safety campaign was organized by Fleet Management dept. (PETRONAS) covering Sungai Petani, Kerteh, Bukit Kemuning and Tronoh Mother Stations. ERT Training HSE & IAP Drill Exercise PNGV 1st Oct & 9th Nov 2020 – ERT training HSE & IAP drill exercise was held at Kerteh and Sungai Petani Mother Station. Inspections 12th & 19th Oct, 23rd Nov 2020 – Trailer & prime mover inspection was conducted at Sungai Petani Mother Station as to ensure safe delivery and to adhere to legal requirements. It was followed by DOSH inspection for the purpose of PMT renewal for trailers. PNGV 15

Drug Screening TEM PK 13th Oct, 19th Nov, 8th & 9th Dec 2020 – Drug screenings were conducted at Gate 3, Tanjong Express Port Klang. All results were negative. Prime Mover Inspections 18th Dec 2020 – Inspection to check critical items in Pre-delivery checklist (PDC) form and prime mover to ensure all drivers follow HSE requirements. DCTT Training 3rd & 23rd Dec 2020 – Driver Competency & Technical Training was led by Central Driver Trainer at Swift Haulage training room. Prime Movers Sanitization 4th, 8th & 24th Dec 2020 – As a preventive measure, prime movers sanitization was done to ensure drivers were in safe condition when on duty. Driver Induction TEM BB 10th Oct & 21st Nov 2020 – Induction program was conducted to welcome new drivers to the company and prepare them for their jobs. Joint SHELL Inspection Fire Extinguisher (FE) Inspection 9th Oct 2020 – Shell Sdn Bhd had inspected skid tack at Swift Haulage, Jalan Nikel Utama to ensure that it is properly maintained and follows standard procedure. Throughout Nov 2020 - FE inspection was also carried out in Nov 2020 to ensure they are in good condition.
