Graduation is a time to celebrate new beginnings and say goodbye to everything that has given you a reason to smile. It is the celebration of warm memories of the past and big dreams for the future. The Graduation Ceremony of the outgoing batch of academic year 2021-22 was organized on 10 May 2022 in the school auditorium zealously. It commenced at 10-30 a.m. with academic procession followed by invocation and lamp lighting. Welcome address was proposed by Puja followed by an address by the school Principal C.K.A Manaf. He congratulated the graduates and reminded the students about the importance of being valuable citizens. He also mentioned that they were lucky to be in such a prestigious institution. The graduating students were called onto the stage and awarded the special badges and handouts by the SLT members and teachers. It was a moment that really added charm to the atmosphere with a sense of achievement. Students were given chance to recollect and share their memories about the school and teachers. A video capturing the moments spent by Grade XII students added more essence to the whole event reminiscing their tenure in the school. Students recollected the moments through this soul-stirring video. Parents expressed their joyful gratitude to the management for moulding their children as valuable citizens. 17 MAY 2022, 16 SHW 1443 WORKSHOP TO IMBIBE TABLE ETIQUETTES Oasis International School organized a session to teach basic dining table manners and etiquette on 12/5/202 for cycle 1 students. The Famous Chef and Hospitality Management expert Mr Shadi Georges Alashkar led the session by demonstrating the basic dining manners and table etiquette brilliantly. The session was a very good learning experience for the children where they learnt about various types of cutlery and their uses. They also understood the importance of correct posture of sitting, use of napkin, how to serve food, how to be excused from a table and complimenting the cook etc. This manoeuvre strengthened the holistic development of each and every child developing their social and self- management skills. It was wonderful to see students expressing their views and personal experiences of social gathering and parties. Nurses play an integral role in taking care of society and during the COVID-19 pandemic, their extraordinary contribution is noteworthy. As a part of Ahalia Group, our school also took time to honor the angels in the world by invoking students the value of nursing. On this special day, Teachers addressedstudents explaining the importance of nurses in society as they help people and their families cope with illness, deal with it, and if necessary live with it, so that other parts of their lives can continue. Apart from it, they have always have been at the forefront of change in health care and public health.
