The Monthly Newsletter BHAVANS PEARL WISDOM SCHOOL MANAGED BY BHARATIYA VIDYA BHAVAN MIDDLE EAST --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MESSAGE FROM THE DESK OF PRINCIPAL --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TIME FOR CHILDREN TO CREATE SOME “SUMMER” MEMORIES Finally, it is the time for the summer break. Much anticipated, much needed and deserved time! A great opportunity for the students, parents, and staff to relax and rejuvenate themselves. Take a break from your stressful life and enjoy the days. We really appreciate the support extended by our esteemed parent community during this pandemic time. We could have lot of achievements during the last three months of this academic year due to the unconditional support from our parents. Parent’s support was really motivating us to achieve more, and it helped us to ensure best educational experience for our students. Parent’s support was commendable when we have the blended classes that is the com- bination of online and face to face learning which is really challenging for the students, teachers, and parents. Still, we could offer the best possible educational experience for our children. High rate of student attendance proves the success of these classes. We could organize a lot of CCA programs including the much-awaited Merit Evening! Our reading assessment and CRA program is actively in progress. We will continue our journey of improvement in future too. We could successfully complete the written test for all the classes including PA1 for Grades 5 to 9. We could achieve all these only because of the great support from our parents and the hard work of our dedicated group of teachers. We know that summer break is not too long, but it can make the learned concept hard to remember after the peri- ods of two months holidays. Hence, children should stay in touch with their studies, in addition to their fun times. To achieve this goal, we have designed an Interdisciplinary Assignment Work for the students of Grade 1 to 9 to be done during the summer break. This is a single assignment work integrated with all the core subjects. This is to avoid multiple assignment work based on each subject which will be a burden for the students. Details of the assignment is posted in the class teacher’s LMS. Parents should ensure that their child is completing this assignment and submit- ting it on the date mentioned for the same. Additionally, we have introduced a reading program for the classes KG 1 TO 6 to be done during the summer break. This is to encourage your wards to read more books to strengthen their academics. We would like parents to encour- age their kids to read news every day. They must do exercise on regular basis. They should also revise the chapters already completed and refer the LMS for further details. Parents should actively involve them in the decision making process and encourage them to perform house chores, which will turn out to be a great life skill education. We have instructed our students to capture the unique moments of their summer break and write a summary and sub- mit the same to their class teachers on the day of reopening. We hope that this will help them to reflect their holidays and connect it with what they have learned in the class. We will be eagerly waiting to receive our students back to school on 29th August 2021. We wish you all an abundance of joy, laughter, and love this summer with your family. Be always safe! Wish you all a happy and safe summer holidays! Dr. K T Nandakumar (Principal) ISSUE : 03 June 2021 PAGE 1
