MAY 1ST 2021 CELEBRATING THE LOYALTY AND COMPASSION OF WORKERS LET'S BREAK THE GENDER BARRIER Labour Day is an annual holiday to celebrate the achievements of workers and to spread awareness among the people regarding the rights of workers. Labour Day has its origins in the labour union movement, specifically the eight-hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest. OUR CONTRIBUTION ON LABOUR DAY On May 1st & 2nd, the students of higher grades poured their talents and creativity to create beautiful, artistic digital posters and collages to raise awareness on labour day. The theme was 'Breaking the Gender Barrier'.

WORLD LAUGHTER DAY \"Use your smile to change the world, don't let the world change your smile\" World laughter day is an annual event celebrated worldwide on the 2nd of May to raise awareness about laughter and its healing benefits, like alleviating stress and soothing tension. This day was created for the first time in the year 1998. In recognition of this day, the studeinmptosrtaonfceG. rade 7 and 8 made vibrant posters depicting its importance.

Mother's Day is a day set aside to express love, respect, and gratitude to mothers. The day is observed by giving gifts, visiting, or taking mothers out for dinner and celebrations. Most of us owe our mothers so much for all the hard work, love, and patience they showed while raising us. There is nothing equal to the love of a mother. The students of Wise appreciated their mothers by making beautiful cards, handmade gifts, and drawing pictures depicting their blissful love for their wonderful and super moms. The kids were made knowledgeable of the love, care, and pain mothers take for them through videos, acts, and songs by their fellow friends. Some of them danced with their mothers. Some of our expressive and skillful Bhavanites drew pictures presenting the love of mothers using their gift of art. Students came up with a graceful and heart-to-heart dance with the help of our dance teacher wishing mothers a happy mother's day by depicting the role of a mother in 4 stages in the life of a child. Even though it is a tie of hardships, we Bhavanites make sure we celebrate such events in splendor and sweet memories in the lives of our loved ones.

In spite of all the the way.\" The Online Investiture Ceremony, held on the 20th of May was celebrated with great pomp and grandeur. A limitations of the virtual platform, a brief spirit of unity and dynamism filled the air as the Investiture campaign was conducted during the assembly. Ceremony commenced with the UAE National Anthem, Later, the students casted their e-votes followed by the Quran Recitation, School Prayer and Bhavans through MS Forms. It turned out to be an Anthem. Our Chief Guest of the Day, Ms. Aishwarya Dongre exciting experience for the students and IPS addressed the zealous trailblazers about the confidence teachers to be part of the election process and responsibilities which are given to the newly appointed Student Council The outgoing student council took us through a flashback of 2021. The newly elected Student Council of Wise were conferred upon with their posts. Each student leader stood proud, ready to shoulder their responsibilities with vigor, zest, and newfound enthusiasm. The leaders took their first step into their responsibility by taking the oath and pledged to uphold and follow the principles and values of the school. The ceremony concluded with the Indian National Anthem.

No academic lesson is more important than a well-planned and engaging school assembly. Assemblies enable young and old to pause, reflect, and think. Morning assembly undoubtedly holds the numero uno position out of all the routine activities in a school. It aids community participation as well as hones the skills of children. We at Wise encourage our students to be themselves and exhibit their talents. The ambitious and enthusiastic students of Grade 6 B poured their creativity and conducted an assembly on World Light Day on the 16th of May. They explained the significance of light and some facts about it. Grade 2E had presented a wonderful assembly on 18th May on International Museum Day. The highlight of this assembly was the lovely dance performed by the students and their conversation about endangered animals. Grade 6 A conducted an assembly on the 30th of May about Creativity Day. They showcased their artwork and performed wonderful dances. Grade 4A had presented the assembly on 27th May 2021 on the topic 'Importance of Reading'. The main highlight was a skit done by students. The Student Council conducted their first official assembly on the 31st of May. The theme was based on Anti-Tobacco Day and they conveyed their message about this day through a remarkable skit. Many more creative assemblies were conducted by other classes.
