The inaugural Irish Champions Weekend surpassed all expectations and provided two great days of racing, boasting five hotly-contested Group 1 races at Leopardstown and the Curragh. With over 24,000 in attendance on the Saturday and Sunday, Irish Champions Weekend was a sporting and social event combining history, spectacle, glamour, excitement and prestige. It showcased Ireland as a world centre of excellence for horse racing and breeding.
