Message Dear Friends, Sheri Adekola The past year has been transformative for OLDF. In addition to launching new programs, we continue to Founder fine-tune and expand our most successful programs to respond directly to children and youth needs as they evolve in the community. Our best ideas and directions tend to come from youth themselves! We have a great team in place, and we are looking forward to many years-to-come. This year, we expanded our summer learning camp locations to include more locations in the GTA. We renewed our partnerships with other school boards in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) to continue to use their buildings to run our programs. Our programs are expanding , and so are we. In Summer 2020, we propose running our popular Achievers summer learning camp at Eight different schools in Toronto, Peel, York, Hamilton, and Halton locations. In Fall 2020, we hope to launch our youth e-zine prepared for the youth by the youth. Youth Mind is designed to increase access and opportunity for fellows to pass on information in this digital age since literacy is no longer about reading and writing but critical thinking and the ability to use resources. The following few pages showcase some of our programs and activities. Thank you for your love and support, and counting on you for more to our present and future donors. Sincerely, Sheri Adekola Sheri Adekola, Ph.D. Founder
