I’ve also had a lot of fun doing the I expanded my knowledge in the cooking field, started being more tolerant informal activities. The other to the others’ diet choice and beliefs and how import is the philosophy of participants knew a lot of information mindful eating and all the benefits to our health. In terms of emotions this connecting to this field and it was project gave me the feeling of being in love with the village and all the easier for me to hear a multicultural people that were part of this experience! Chris, BG perspective about it. I have changed my attitude about vegan food; I understood that it really can be tasty and various. My favorite part was building balcony garden from scratch. I was really inspiring how simple it is to grow your own vegetables and I’m planning to try this. Rebecca, RO In this whole experience I was of course not alone but with a lot of amazing people around me and the most perfect thing about that it was that even though we were from completely different places , we had the same love for food. From this experience I will remember the kind people, beautiful Bergolo and mostly how I changed in understanding and appreciating food, something that I am sure that will make me better in following my dream around gastronomy. Dimitra, GR

Enjoy Eat! was a long reflection upon the links between groups and food. It was not only about learning sometimes basic and some other times complex aspects related to food itself, but rather about how we share our knowledge about it and how we organise to cook it. There was so much work and love behind this project that I as a participant could appreciate the effort Associazione Vagamondo made for us all! Juliana, Denmark The trainers were all really inspiring, and each had their own area of expertise and manner of delivery. The week was a great mix of theory (e.g. nutrition), group work (e.g. planning a menu), practical cooking and trips to places of interest related to the topic. Illona, UK The small village of Bergolo gave me a feeling of togetherness, so it was easy to connect with the other participants while also learning through non-formal education. I also learned a lot of new ways of learning, especially through games, that I'm looking forward to using them in the future. All in all, this project was a very balanced combination between knowledge + information and practical skills. Gabriela, Romania

The project exceeded my expectations in every I am really glad that I had a form. I learned so much info about the vegan and chance to participate in this project. vegetarian diets and the ways to approach them in I have met a lot of people, that I still the kitchen. In general, I feel like this project communicate with. Rokas, LT changed my life. Learning about ESC was eye- opening and filled me with motivation to explore I met many like-minded people new paths in my life through that. Stella, GR which made me think of the changes we can all make I am very grateful that in the team of trainers we had a together as a generation to chef like Susane, truly inspiring, with her own personal increase the awareness on experience and shared knowledge, a source of problems related as well to our inspiration. It has been an experience that I would health and also to our climate, especially recommend to young people who start to be food waste and healthy interested in food. Lorena, ES environment.Victoria, BG

This training enabled me to understand exactly what I hoped to The project was surprisingly learn. This project challenged me to be a better listener and learner, insightful, not only because of the to be mindful of my surroundings and of food, and to focus on every information I acquired, but, perhaps, single food related detail when it comes to organizing events or even more so because of the people. youth projects. During this training I felt comfortable and inspired by Valters, Latvia the people around me. I increased my knowledge in nutrition and methods of attainment of a sustainable food system, I learned what is needed to start and develop a successful food business and how to prepare balanced meals for myself and groups of people. Iskra, North Macedonia During this TC I could discover more, what is missing in the field of youth work and how other people think outside of my small eco-hippy bubble. Mei Ling, Germany

No matter the project theme or goals, I have participated in some other youth projects but never a in every project you meet people project like this one. It has brought great pleasure to learn how from other countries, cultures with to work in a group, how to find comprises when it comes to different beliefs and ideas. I value compiling a full meal for a greater crowd of people. The people the projects by connections with from all the different countries gave me a taste of their cuisine people that I had chance to make. and introduced me to their cultures by sharing recipes, When I think back and remember experiences, habits and their way of building a proper diet. all people that I got to know, how the Haritina, North Macedonia se people were impacted by me, makes me feel alive. I feel wiser not because I consumed so much information during activities, but because I had true conversations, experienced things with people who were strangers to me few days ago, build friendships, shared laughter and food, said heartbreaking goodbyes. These are the best lessons that I learned from projects abroad. Rokas, Lithuania

Italy and food are a great combination. But this time it was more about living and eating valuable. Unity with everything that exists, sustainability, content for what you eat. Values and needs, taste and adventure. And, of course, communication in foreign language, learning to learn, social competences, entrepreneurship and initiative, cultural awareness and almost all Erasmus+ competences was involved in this process. Inga, Latvia I also gained a better understanding of how the food industry, educational institutions and governmental entities are evolving in response the new food trends worldwide. Overall, it was a very valuable personal experience which makes one reflect upon our behaviour when we are in circumstances unable to make our own choices. Kate, Denmark The most important thing I learnt during the program was about the vegetarian and vegan dietary requirements since I managed to expand my knowledge and include more options to my meals. Also I was really curious to learn about the food market of Italy and learn more about the food culture of the country. The best outcome of the project was the long term friendships I made and all the crazy moments I spend with my new friends. Anastasia, United Kingdom

put your photo here Hello, my name is Chris and I'm one of the 3 future volunteers of Associazione Vagamondo that will take part in Vitality ESC project in 2020. I created this booklet with the testimonials written by the participants of the training, and I was also one of them, I understood that it was one of the experiences that I want to recreate in my future organization. I'm glad that I participated in the project because I was able to develop so many useful skills and meet all these amazing people in the same village where my volunteering will take place. It's a wonderful journey for which I admire the great work done by Associazione Vagamondo with the support of Agenzia Nazionale Giovani!

Thank you! We want to present to you Instagrams of 2 participants  which are related to  food: Stella Kate
