This first event called “WAW part 1: StudioSkin” proposes to analyze the moment when the creation is searching for the transition from ideology to presentation to the public, a concept that reunites the works of five female artists: Teodora-Diana Borz, Sabina Elena Dragomir, Andrada Elena Feșnic, Teodora Pop, Andrada-Paula Vecleniț.
It discusses the possibility of visibility and awareness of the artistic creation, thus protecting its expressiveness and finding the conviction of proposing a language that is not mere improvisation.
StudioSkin refers directly to the skin that covers the impulse, the symbolic skin that covers the works that are not yet ready to be exposed, but who carry the consciousness of being presented in front of different visions and interceptions. Thus claiming of the right of not being docile, the desire to shed this oppressed skin. An exit from the uncertainty of being more or less prepared for the exposure of one’s own manifestation and research.
