1. Title Training that provide working experience with professionals and chance to immersed in the daily task of developing websites. 2. Keywords • Objectives - To help businesses through effective website - Improve website ranking • Activities - Update website contents - Performing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) • Results - Providing websites with customized design - Solid ranking in the main search engines 3. Objectives Personal development objectives: a) Experience to company culture and adapt to the environment. b) Learn the importance of time management and punctuality. c) Able to communicate with high level of professionals and clients. d) Able to develop interpersonal skills and self reliance. Professional development objectives: a) Gain exposure on working style within the time frame which is scheduled by the Project Team. b) Able to work independently and also as a team. c) Gain knowledge on how the Seach Engine Optimization (SEO) works. d) A part of Hosting Team in which will be handling the website issues faced by the clients and users. e) Gain knowledge on updating websites in a more organized and also user-friendly way.

4. During this 6 months of internship period, I have gain experience and discover what a particular role is like. I have managed to learn from my mistakes and improve both my effectiveness and skills as a temporary employee and myself as a training student. This six months of training become one of the greatest platform for me to increase my technical, interpersonal and communication, both oral and written skills. I took this opportunity to gain as much knowledge as I can to enhance my skills in developing a good website. Furthermore, I also got a chance to be in the Website Monitoring Team in which I will be performing the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for the websites. Other than that, I have the opportunity to connect with the

clients and users to solve issues involving websites and emails. One of the most valuable things I learned in Webteq Solutions is the importance of communication among the colleagues to work as a team. A positive and routine communication can make so much difference in the workplace. Besides that, I have also changed some of my bad lifestyle such as procastinating. Like every other students, I too have this “Student’s Syndrome” which is also known as procastinating a given task and doing it at very last minute. Since the Project Team of my company has already scheduled our task and expect us to complete the task by given due date, I have become more responsible and always make sure that I complete the given tasks on time. I plan my time very well and inform the Project Team earlier if I need extra time. v) During my internship period, the language that I most frequently used is Hypertext Markup Language which is also known as HTML. It is also assisted by Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and scripting languages such as Javascript. An intern must be good in all these skills in order to provide an effective website for the clients. I have searched and self-studied the languages whenever I face difficulties. In this way, Google and also YouTube tutorial videos has helped me a lot to overcome my problems. My company has its very own workflow to make sure that we provide a proper websites for the clients. When the Sales department successfully signed the contract with the client, the Project Team will execute and schedule the time accordingly to each department. First, the project will be handed over to the designer to help on designing the websites and creating mock up images. Then, the developer will take over the project to create the backend of the websites, such as embedding the important codings and languages. Lastly, it will be handed over to the Webmasters which is the internship students to update the contents accordingly in the Content Management System (CMS). After checkings and further corrections are made, the website will be migrated to Live.

5. Conclusions and further prospects During this six months of internship period, the main aspects of the traineeships is for the trainee to gain experience on how working life would be. It is not only what we studied in university but sometimes, it requires us to do our own research and find solutions ourselves. Industrial training is also necessary for students to prepare and have ideas on what students will be doing for their Final Year Project later. The experiences and knowledge gained during the internship period will be helpful while doing FYP. The benefits of industrial training is that the students able to work and engaged to their workplace as a trainee first, in which they will be learning and making mistakes first before they indulge into the real working lifestyle. Students can gain the real working life experience through internships. Other than that, industrial training is beneficial for the students to know their own capabilities and also weaknesses. I truly look forward to work with Webteq Solutions Sdn Bhd after I complete my degree studies. The conducive working environment has definitely given me a true working experience and also I believe that I can bring my best for the future company growth.

Figure 4 shows the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) performed and recorded weekly. Figure 4 Figure 5 and 6 shows the Webteq Portal for the Hosting Team in which the trainee will be performing the renewal, termination and further updates for the domains. Figure 5 Figure 6
