Students showed their love and respect for the UAE and its flag. Students has come in UAE flag colour dresses and celebrated the day with lots of smiles, flag waving, and great national pride. 1

Class Mascot Having a class mascot adds a little fun and humour to the classroom. Every week one student of each class will re- ceive class mascot on per- forming well in the class. 6

English–Blending of sound Sound blending is the ability to build words from individual sounds by blending the sounds together in sequence . It also helps students to enhance their reading skills. 8

Mathematics Counting objects Learning numbers through activities will help students to retain number identification, place value and number value. These hand on activities make learning fun and enjoyable for our young learners. 9

Science Transportation is something children experience in their daily routine. Through transportation lesson children not only learn about what different vehicles are for and how they work, but they are also learning other im- portant concepts such as safety when riding in a vehicle or walking. Arabic Arabic subject at kindergarten level teaches them the fundamentals of language and prepare them for higher grades. At Dunes, the Arabic language taught from kindergarten students to gain basic skills in writing and pronouncing the Arabic alphabet. 11

Swimming In Dunes, Kindergarten students are provided with swimming oppor- tunity that will help them to develop their muscles and joints, it also improves the strength of their heart and lungs, and to develop their brain Students are learning Pro- gressively jump alone from the edge of pool. LIbrary Library is a clearly de- fined space that young children can use inde- pendently to browse books. Library plays an important role in cre- ating a high-quality early childhood learn- ing experience that enriches language and vocabulary develop- ment. 13

Flat race Annual sports meet The spirit of friendly competition comes alive on Sports Day. The stu- dents participate in a wide range of sports events, cheer on their team- mates and learn valuable lessons in sportsmanship. Parents are invited to join the kids throughout the day. Events chosen are fun, safe and easy to participate. Typical events are flat race, hurdle race and novelty race along with music and movement and aerobics. 14
