DUNES INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL EXPO- “If we exhibit our thinking skills assiduously now, it will guarantee the execution of our future endeavors” Senior Dunites-9-12 exhibited their creativity radiantly in the DUNES EXPO-2020 EXPLORE OPPORTUNITIES; an exhibition thematically based on Future en- deavors: Future Jobs, The Future Schools, Future Mobility, and The future lifestyle. The School model exhibited, consisted on a wonderful amalgamation of Artificial Intelligence (AI-technology) in the library, computer lab, laboratories and sustainable play grounds. 2

Planetarium show “Mesmerizing Experience” for kindergartener's to visit planetarium at Dunes International School. A planetarium is a theatre built primarily for presenting educational and entertaining shows about astronomy and the night sky, or for training in celestial navigation. 6

Solo Dance Competition “Dance is the hidden language of the Soul” At the very young age, the students of kindergarten were given a platform to ex- plore their talents, express their feelings with confidence and remove the stage fear through the dance competition. The participants gave an energetic and awesome performance. 7

Reach for the stars. The Star of the Week Award Certificate has been identified as a key strategy in behavior management. Rewarding hard-working or well- behaved students with Star of the Week will encourages good behavior in classroom and create a fun and friendly learning environment based on reward. 10

Class Mascot Every week one student from each section will receive class mascot based on the moral values. 12

English– Letters Ff and Bb Students learned phonic sound, sorting of related objects and correct formation of letter Ff and Bb through different hands on activities . 14

English– Blending of sound Discussion of blends can help learners understand how words are formed in English. They learnt to link the sounds together and the whole in one go. 15

Mathematics—Numbers Students learn numbers through different activities . Using different manipulative students can count and write the num- bers in sequence and they understand number value . Students were actively engaged in all the activities. 16

Mathematics— Concept Sink and Float Concept of sink and float introduced through hands on activities. Students were excited to iden- tify the objects which one is sink and float in the water. 17

Science Transportation Students learned transportation means carrying people or goods from one place to another. They were able sort the picture according to different modes of transport and enjoyed making craft vehicle out of paper plates 18

Science Seasons Learning about seasons of the year and their transition helps kids better comprehend how time works. They were exited to learn the season of the year Summer, Winter and Rainy. They learnt to dress up with respect to each season and enjoyed different activities. 19

Arabic Kindergartener's learning Arabic alphabet through different educational songs, hands on activities and worksheets . 20

LIbrary Reading is to the mind as exercise is to body. At Dunes, kinder- gartners loves sharing books, reading and telling stories. These skills are the cornerstone to devel- op children's vocabulary and liter- acy. Reading books foster their curiosity, excites their imagination and helps them to better under- stand themselves and the world. 21

Year of Tolerance His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has proclaimed the year 2019 to be the \"The Year of Tolerance\" in the UAE, highlighting the UAE as a global capi- tal for tolerance, and emphasizing tolerance as a universal concept and a sustainable institutional endeavor through legislation and policies aimed at entrenching the values of toler- ance, dialogue, coexistence and open- ness to different cultures, especially amongst youth, which will reflect pos- itively on society as a whole.
