Southwest Christian School’s Homecoming Court 2021

Bryce Lee Brown Bryce Lee Brown has attended SCS for 13 years. He is the son of Rhonda and Paul Brown. Bryce plans to attend the University of Arkansas and study entrepreneurship and international business. Bryce has participated in various sports during his time at SCS including basketball, track, golf, and football. He has held the treasurer position on the junior class council and secretary position on the senior class council. When asked what SCS means to him, Bryce says “SCS is a family. Regardless of being here 13 years or just a few months, everyone has a place. The SCS family is ambitious, charismatic, and caring. The relationships that were formed here have become some of the strongest bonds in my life. Being an Eagle means you must be accountable and dependable. SCS means to constantly be bettering yourself along with the people around you and to do it all in God’s name.” Grace McClain Gamill Grace McClain Gamill is the daughter of Stephan and Kelly Gamill. She has attended SCS for four years. Gigi enjoys serving as senior class vice president and working on all the fun projects it presents. The House Church and K-life are important to her spiritual growth. Working at a local boutique as the Sales Lead takes much of her time as her passions include fashion but also politics. With this in mind, she is weighing her future at the University of Arkansas or The University of Oklahoma with a degree in fashion design or broadcast journalism. Spending as much time as possible with friends and family is where she finds the most joy. When asked what SCS means to her, Gigi said, “Coming from a homeschooled environment, SCS enriched my life with amazing teachers and friends.”

Tyson Christian Flowers Reagan Elizabeth High Tyson Christian Flowers is the son of Christy Smith and Jeromy Reagan Elizabeth High is the daughter of Kirk and Laura High and has Flowers and has attended SCS for five years. Tyson plays football attended SCS for four years. She has been involved in varsity cross and has played basketball and run track for the past four years at SCS. Tyson is a member of the National Honor Society and country and track all four years at SCS. She has attended Christ Chapel attends Hulen Street Church and Christ Chapel’s HSM. Tyson Bible Church for 17 years and is currently involved with the High School plans on attending Rice University and is undecided on what he Ministry, serving on the Student Leadership Team. She hopes to attend wants to study. Auburn University where she will major in exercise science. When asked what SCS means to him Tyson says, “SCS is a place of growth. The mission of Southwest Christian School is to provide a Christ-centered, college preparatory education that graduates young adults equipped as Christian leaders in the world.

Holton Reed Percifield Holton Reed Percifield is the son of Steve and Kelly Percifield and has attended SCS for six years. During his high school years at SCS, he has played four seasons of football, three seasons of basketball, a season of baseball, a season of track and field, and plans to compete in his second season of golf in the spring. He has also served on the class council for all four years of high school, been a member of the National Honor Society for the past three years, and served as both a student ambassador and student mentor at SCS. He is a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Holt has gone to Camp Ozark for nine years and will serve as a counselor there this summer. He hopes to attend Auburn University or the University of Arkansas where he plans on studying business management. SCS has been a welcoming home full of lifelong friendships for Holt. He says, “this place has had such an amazing impact on my life, and I am so thankful for my relationship with my classmates, teachers, coaches, and administrators.” Sarah Lillian Buell Sarah Lillian Buell is the daughter of Jeff and Charlotte Buell and has attended SCS for three years. At school, she runs on the track and field team and leads a middle school Bible study. She loves going to other SCS events, like football games, to cheer on her friends. Sarah enjoys doing anything with friends in her free time. Sarah is also very involved in the High School Ministry at Christ Chapel Bible Church. She is on the Student Leadership Team and serves there regularly which includes welcoming new students and helping plan and set up events. She also loves traveling and has a heart for missions. Sarah hopes to attend Auburn University or Texas A&M University and major in communications. She hopes to find a career that allows her to help those around her. When asked what SCS means to her she replied, “SCS is a community that encourages and builds one another up. The staff and other students truly care for each other and want to rejoice in each other’s delights, and grieve in their mourning. I am proud to be an Eagle and will forever be grateful for my time at SCS.”

Hunter Charles Sage Hunter Charles Sage is the son of Amy and Andrew Sage. He has been attending SCS for 14 years. Hunter plans to attend either The University of Alabama, Louisiana State University or The University of Oklahoma where he will study business. Hunter enjoys playing football and golf at SCS. Playing both of the sports at SCS has taught Hunter discipline and created many friendships. Hunter has loved fishing and hunting with his dad and friends since a very young age. Hunter enjoys the fellowship that surrounds him at SCS with both his friends and teachers. His sister, Hannah, and his parents are so proud of him. God is his center and he looks forward to guiding and helping others as much as he can through his journey. When asked what SCS means to him, Hunter replied, “SCS is a community. It is a place where I could always look back on and remember people who have my back and who are with me through every step of my life. I’m so blessed and will always cherish what this school has offered me through my fourteen years here.” Haylee Sage Davis Haylee Sage Davis is the daughter of Sarah and Zeth Davis and has attended SCS for six years. Haylee has been part of the cross country team and the basketball team. Haylee has served as the treasurer and vice president of the student council for three years. She is a member of the National Honor Society where she has served as the secretary and chaplain. She has volunteered at many places including the Tarrant Area Food Bank, Mission Arlington, the Cowtown Marathon, and Cook Children’s Hospital. Haylee enjoys traveling overseas for mission trips, gardening, and fiddling. She is an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Grandview. Haylee plans to attend Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama to study physical therapy. When asked what SCS means to her, Haylee responded by saying, “SCS is a loving and supporting place where the people help you grow closer to God, work hard, and help you to become the best version of yourself.”

James Andrew Vuduris Basden Joy Wilson James (Drew) Andrew Vuduris is the son of Jennifer and Jim Basden Joy Wilson is the daughter of Corbin and TJ Wilson. This is Vuduris. Drew has attended SCS for four years along with his Basden’s second year attending SCS, and she hopes to attend Auburn twin sister, Emily and an older sister, Abby, who graduated from SCS. Drew is undecided on where he wants to attend college, University or Baylor University and study biology. Basden serves as but plans to pursue a degree in finance. Drew is a member of student council secretary, captain of the varsity cheer squad, plays the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, has varsity softball and varsity soccer, and is a member of the National Honor served as a student ambassador, student mentor and a member Society and the SCS Fashion Club. She was awarded TAPPS 2nd team of the Junior World Affairs Council. Drew was selected as the All-State honors in cheer and 2nd team all-district in softball, along with recipient of the Ryan Rambo Scholarship his junior year. Outside the SCS Coach’s Choice award in cheer. Basden serves on the Student of school, Drew has played select baseball since he was 10 years Leadership Team for Christ Chapel’s High School Ministry, and she loves old. Drew participated in football and baseball all four years at SCS. Drew has received numerous TAPPS All-District awards getting to help lead an SCS girls’ middle school Bible study. including TAPPS All-State Honorable When asked what SCS means to her, Basden replies with: “SCS is a mention for baseball his junior year and TAPPS Academic All-State for safe space that has welcomed me both football and baseball. Drew was with open arms and has provided selected as football captain junior and a community that pushes me more senior year by his peers. SCS means so towards Christ each and every day.” much to Drew. He states that “even coming in as a new freshman, I immediately felt welcomed by my peers, coaches and teachers. It is the place where I have built the strongest friendships and have grown tremendously as a person and as a Christian leader. SCS truly is a place where personal growth and friendships are around every corner.”
