Read about us on Page 56 The Winchester Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to promoting and serving businesses as well as fostering a strong economic climate consistent, and in harmony with, the character and culture of the town of Winchester, Massachusetts. The Chamber supports its “Shop Local” initiatives through many annual activities including our “Welcome to Winchester” promotional bags, our “Welcome Back Winchester” all-day downtown event, and our “Midnight Madness” holiday shopping extravaganza. We partner with numerous organizations and businesses to encourage residents to shop locally. We support businesses through regular networking events and informational programs. Our “Women of Winchester” business networking group is one of the most active and successful networking groups in the area. For many years, the Winchester Chamber of Commerce has made it a priority to help raise money for the town’s beautification projects. The Chamber has spearheaded all of the fundraising for the holiday lighting and hanging baskets, which help make the entire downtown center area an attractive place to dine, shop, and relax with family and friends. In addition we have provided benches for seating placed around the downtown area. The Winchester Chamber represents large and small businesses, retail and service organizations, dining establishments, and many non-profit organizations. We produce a bi-weekly newsletter which is distributed electronically to all members and showcases the many events and informational resources sponsored by the Chamber.
