Welcome to Precis The Precis Team is glad to announce that we are presently working towards creating a monthly E-newsletter, the first of its kind, by the students of CIS (College for Integrated Studies, University of Hyderabad). We have taken up this initiative to provide a platform for our fellow UoH members to showcase their talents, both artistic and critical. We want to create a network across campus and provide a space where people with similar interests can bond. This newsletter will consist of everything; poems, stories, articles, artwork, photography, diary entries, movie reviews, columns, experiences etc. of all languages. We want everyone to step forward and exhibit their passions and skills, even anonymously if they wish to. Through this newsletter we hope to achieve everything mentioned above. This is an exciting step for the students of CIS and we will work towards ensuring this is a success. We look forward to your love and support.

Message from the Director Dear Students, It gives me immense pleasure to see the first e newsletter of CIS being brought out by students. At CIS we have always believed that there is no single fixed definition of success. Grades in the transcript may have their own significance in life but they do not make or break any of us. Talent hidden inside us also manifests our personality and determines the meaning of success and satisfaction for each one of us. I am sure the newsletter would provide a platform to everyone to showcase their creativity and also to air their thoughts for everyone to hear. In these unusual times of lockdown, when physical contact is not there between us, the newsletter would bring us together and allow us to be connected, even if it is through thoughts. కర్పూర్ వసంతరాయలు రచయిత - సి.నా.రె 135 పేజీలు - 5 ఆశ్వాసవలు 1957 సం.వ సి.నా.రె గారు 14వ శతాబ్ంద చివరి న్మో మదనాయ యువహృదయ సంవత్స రాల నండి తీసుకున్న నిజ సదనాయ అని త్పారింథ చు సమయాన్ రతీ దేవి వలే అగుపంచే న్రకత ి లకుమ. తొల్ల చూపు లోనే పాత్త్ల ఆధారంగా అల్లని ్ ఒక కాలప నిక గేయ లకుమకు పడిపోతాడు రాయుడు. సహజ కావయ ం కర్పప ర వసంత్రాయలు. ఈ కావయ ం ఊహాజనిత్మేనైనా \"మలంి పల్లి సోమశేఖర సిదంి గానే లల్లత్కళాపపాసి అయిన్ వసంతుడు శరమ \" గారు రచించిన్ \"రెడిరి ాజ్యయ ల చరిత్త్\" నండి పాత్త్లన, పండుగలన, లకుమ నాట్యయ నిన చూసి మైమరిచిపోయి త్న్తో సంత్పదాయాలన, రాజ్యయ లన మనోనాట్య ం చేయసాగాడు. జోరు మీరు తీరు మారి తీసుకునాన రు. దీనిన రచించి చాలా నాట్య ం బ్యట్కి వచిచ ంది. పకక నే ఉన్న త్న్ అరాి ంగి దానిన నియంత్రంచింది. రాజు దశాబ్దద లవుతునాన ఈనాటికీ మన్లని ఆలోచింపచేసే కావయ మిది. మన్ తెలుగు గడ్ి త్పసాదించిన్ కంఠాభరణానిన చూస్తత రాయుడు మీద కూడా హోళీని పోల్లన్ వసంత్ త్న్న సప ృశంచిన్ మధురక్షణాలన గుశర్ ుత ఉత్స వాలు జరిగేవని తెలుసుతంది. అయితే చేసుకుంటంది లకుమ. ఇరువురు పరసప రం సవ పాన లలో తేల్లపోతునాన రు. ఇకక డ్ కవి ఇకక డ్ మాత్త్ం రంగులకు బ్దులుగా లకుమకు(స్త్రత ) మరియు రాయుడికి(పురుషుడు ) కూడా ఒకే చంత్దుడినే ర్పపకం(Metaphor) గా కర్పప ర కస్తత రికా మృగమద రశ్ ీచందనాలన చలుికునేవారు. ఘన్ంగా 9 రోజుల పాటు ఈ వాడి దృష్టి ని బ్టిి సృష్టి గోచరిసుతందన్న టుిగా ఉత్స వాలన జరిపంచడ్ం వలి చూపస్తత పాఠకుల మదిలో ఒక అందమైన్ సన్నన వేషానిన చిత్త్కరించారు . కుమారగిరిరెడికి ి కర్పప ర వసంత్రాయలుగా త్పసిదిి చందారు. 12

మర్ునాడు రాజు సర్వసనై ాాధ్ాక్షుడు మహారాణి అన్నగారనై ్ కాటయవేముడిని రాజుపై తన్కున్న పరమ దేశానికి తన్ బాధ్ాత మధ్ా ఒక ధ్ర్ిసంకటం తో లకుమన్ు ఆస్ాాన్ న్ర్తకగి ా నియమంచ పుర్మాయంచాడు. నిదాన్ముగా లకుమ లకుమ న్లిగపో యంది. తన్కు రాజు దూర్మవవడం కనాన తాన్ు దూర్మతై ే నివాసమైన్ కళే ీస్ౌధ్ము సదా రాజనిలయంగా మారంది. గమనించదగగ విషయం రాజు ఏమవుతాడో అన్న బాధ్తో లకుమ కుమలిపో యంది. మర్ుసటి రోజు ఏంటంటే కవి లకుమన్ు ఎపుూడూ పూరతగా పొ గడర్ు అంటే పాఠకులు సవతహా గా ర్కతవర్ణపు దుసత ులలో శివతాండవం చసే త ూ పడి ితో పొ డుచుకొని ర్కతం చందిసత ూ ఆమ అందానిన చూడలేర్ు. లకుమ అందానిన అభిన్యానిన మన్ం సదా కన్ులు మూసంి దా మహాస్ాధివ. వసంతరాయుని కన్ునలతో వీక్షసి ్తాం. రాజు మన్సులో లకుమ రాణి స్ాానానిన ఆకరమంచందని చూపించటానికి కవి పటటమహషి ి స్ాాన్ంలో లకుమన్ు రాజుతో కవితావనికి పయర ోజన్ం కూడా ఉంటటందని గుర్తుచసే త ూ మన్కు స.ి న్.ర గార్ు తీర్ాయాతలర కు పంపుతార్ు.దొరకిందే అవకాశంగా తీర్ాయాతనర ్ు పరమయాతగర ా చపూదలిెన్ విషయం ఏమటంటే ,విహార్యాతగర ా మలుచుకుంటార్ు పమర కులు .
