Not many schools in the city have tried doing it this year because of the pains of the preparations, but still, the HIGH SCHOOL DEPARTMENT NEVER HESITATED. In our mind, this is for our students. The Senior High students have been given that privilege to pilot such mode and we earned favorable response and feedback. From their words during the first day f2f classes was rolled, many of them affirmed that it was such a wonderful feeling to be back in the Riverside campus, meet some of their classmates in-flesh, interact again with their teachers, get an exhale from the virtual box – Zoom and MS Teams, enjoy the cozy-conditioned classrooms, see the breathtaking view that surrounds the library, be transported to the higher floor by the escalator. In a nutshell, there are improvements that will take place next AY 2022-2023. Since the government supports the comeback of students in the physical space next year, for a more exciting school year, expect these: We will conduct classes in hybrid. Hybrid learning is an educational model in which students spend at least half of their time learning online and the rest of their time learning in physical classrooms, thus, face to face. We have also allotted rooms for possible HYFLEX classes. In the Hyflex mode - students can attend classes online, thus, can synchronously join the students attending the face to face classes. Asynchronous classes will also take place using our learning management system. Consultation hours, will be utilized not only for academic purposes, but also for holistic well-being, because in LPU, we believe that “Nobody should be left behind”. Another happy news is that, for the next AY, our schedule will be made more student-friendly. We will follow a long-weekend schedule. It means students will be free during Fridays, no assignments to be given and they will do things self-paced. Also, this day will be devoted for activities to give way for our promised vibrant student life. Here in LPU, we promise to give our students only the best learning experience they truly deserve, thus, they LEARN DIFFERENT and LIVE DIFFERENT.
