Call to Worship Leader: Welcome to worship this day. All: Thank you. We’re glad to be here. Leader: Some have come seeking; some have come struggling. All: Lord, be with each one of us today. Feed our hearts and souls with your transforming love. Leader: God is truly with you all today, guiding, lifting, feeding, restoring your souls. All: Praise be to God who continually abides with us. AMEN. AMEN!

Affirmation of Faith I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy universal church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Welcome from the Pastor: Greetings to you! This is an amazing time to be in the Kingdom of God! There is no time like the present to give God the praise for what He has done! I want to personally welcome you to First UMC-College Station. It is truly a blessing to have you with us. In our mission to be the embodiment of Mark 12:30-31, we embrace you and your family with the joyful expectation that God will grant you perfect peace. Whether you are visiting for the first time or you are a “welcomed regular”, I believe that you are in the right place, at the right time, to receive the very thing(s) you have believed God for! Here’s What’s Happening at 1st Church - A BIG thank you to eh Food Drive Giveaway Volunteers and for making this a successful event. The next Food Drive Giveaway is September 9th. - August13, 2023---Blessing of the Backpacks. Children and Youth are encouraged to bring their backpack for a special blessing. - August 14---Prayer Walk at local Schools. Please sign-up after church in foyer.
