VARSITY HEAD COACHI was born and raised here in the Treasure Valley, and fell in love withthe game of football as I grew up. I played football at Skyview HighSchool and then went on to play at Boise State. I spent 2 yearsunder Dirk Koe�er and then 3 seasons under Dan Hawkins. I then played semi-pro for 6 years where I was a player and coach. In 2011 I broke in at the interscholas�c level where I coached the Nampa Chris�an Middle School program for one year, then moved to the Junior Varsity for three seasons before ge�ng the opportunity as the Varsity Head Coach last season. Our mo�o for the program is to be \"Steel Strong\". Through the years there has been an outpouring of sacrifice and dedica�on to our school. Our football field has reaped the benefits of such sacrifice and dedica�on. Campbell field was dedicated in the early 1990’s and named a�er Cecil Campbell who was called the heart and soul of Nampa Chris�an for several decades. Cecil Campbell was an administrator, teacher and coach of mul�ple sports from the 1960’s to the 1990’s. He was instrumental in the building of our football field. A�er Coach Campbell, Coach Russell’s team brought a state �tle to NCHS in 1981, with Cecil Campbell’s son, Ma�, on the team. A�erwards, the current scoreboard and press box were added.
