The Goose with The Golden Egg

Once upon a time a farmer going to the nest of his goose found there an egg all yellow and glittering.

When he took it up it was as heavy as lead He took it home

and soon found that it was an egg of pure gold Every morning the same thing occurred, and he soon became rich by selling his eggs.

As he grew rich he grew and thinking to get at once all the gold the goose give,

he killed it and opened it only to find-nothing.

When the farmer kills the goose The goose did not die and was able to force his life back. and became the most handsome god

and said, “Why kill us? We are angels, come down as geese to help. But she kills us because of greed. A really stupid human being.”

The goose finished speaking and walked out of the house. and fly back to heaven Let the two farmers continue to be stunned.

This story teaches that 'Greed never gave anyone richness.'
