BALLISTICeda ballistic design and analysis software BALLISTICeda is a computer program developed by EDA Ltd. in the collaboration with MKEK for the purposes of design and analysis of missiles and projectiles. It includes parametric 3D-solid model geometry, interior ballistics, exterior ballistics and flight mechanics modules. BALLISTICeda Aeodynamic calculation Aerodynamic solver of BALLISTICeda uses component buildup method to find over- all aerodynamic loads acting on a projectile or missile. Aerodynamic characteristics of major components such as wings, body and tails are calculated by using linear theory and/or slender body theory are summed by considering component specific weighting interference factors. Some semi empirical formulations based on experi- mental data base may also be utilized.
