and. #1 Redesign Residential refurbishment This brief was a designed for Natalie and Alistair Barker who have just bought a 170 year old cottage in New Forest. They want to recover the soul of the place and give it a completely new life. And guess what? The property used to belong to the bakers of the village... They are “The Barkers at the bakers”

North Side Scheme and. concept The north side colour pallet consists of neutral earth tones with aubergine purples and dusty pinks with contrasting accents in mustard. The redesign of this cottage aims to recover the lost charm of the property. SouTthheSnidoerthScshideemceolour pallet consists of neutral earth tones The concept idea has inspired the entire design strategy and had a great impact in the selection of materials, with aubergine purples and dusty pinks with contrasting colour palette and the entire planning of the space. accents in mustard. The industrial features provide an insight into the building’s past whilst maintaining a sense of belonging. The south side pallet is all about letting the nature in: forest greens, lighter The natural and tactile materials connect with the neutrals and accents in purple. senses allowing us to flow throughout the space. The outstanding nature around the property is also playing a vital role in both space planning and colour palette, filling the place with warmth and tranquility.

North Side: South Side: Relax & Enjoy Share & Play and. space planning The original configuration of the space had an east-west division with many dead areas lacking purpose. To allow a more efficient use of the space, two walls have been knocked down resulting in a North - South division. The space is now divided into two: // The north side is dedicated to leisure and relaxation. // The south side is all about playing and sharing moments together.

and. #2 Create Residential - Guest’s area Philip and Julia want to design their guest bedroom and bathroom so their son and daughters can feel at home again when visiting with their partners. Settled in different corners of the world, this guest’s area of their former home is an opportunity for them to connect and reinforce their emotional bond. They might be apart, but they have a space to Connect, Relax and Play as if they were together...

From deep conversations inspired by the room’s intimate corners, to hidden treasure hunts surprising the family members; every detail is an opportunity to share the love they have for each other and feel closer even if they are oceans apart. The elements are playful and light-hearted, allowing them to lose themselves in a safe space, transporting them to moments of joy and delight. space planning The south facing bedroom and bathroom is located in the basement of a family home in Barnes. The space is designed to maximise the impact from the limited light available. The lack of windows in the bathroom at the rear of the space is compensated by the light-hearted materials and hanging plants that transport us to a brighter place.

and. Decorex 2019 Design Encounters I collaborated with the team at Run For The Hills with sourcing, styling, installing and photo shooting of the children’s bedroom at Decorex 2019 - Design Encounters.

and. The room depicted a five-year old eco-warrior in an edgy, cool, fashion forward space with an overarching theme of rebellion and environmentalism.

We needed to decode what AUTHENTIC means for Slovaks in order to inspire the interior and graphic designs and also provide meaning to the future user of the space, while reassuring the client commissioning the project.
