Giuseppe Scafidi Giuseppe Scafidi, I am standing for Vice President of Business and Law to make a positive impact in our academic journey, and bring the following changes and improvement across our department: -Employability: The main goal for student is to improve their knowledge with their studies, however, is also fundamental to learn how to approach to their future work environment. To develop this skill, is required a more practical method, implementing the support from external sources, using the experience and knowledge from professionals already working in the sector and bring more in- person experiences. - Improving communication between students and tutors/supervisor: One of the main issue brought to my attention by many students, was the lack of communication between students and tutors during their 1st and 2nd years. This also transition into communication issues between final year students and their supervisor during their individual project. The aim is to develop a system that will improve the communications between the two parties. -Organization and support: A current issue reported by students, is the missing cohesion between modules. The scope is to bring more support and organization between modules and improve the learning experience for students. In conclusion, much more can be added to my manifesto, but the aim is not just to bring promises, but deliver facts and changes to the university. “Employability, communication and support.”
