Chapter 7 Good Health is a Lifelong Habit Rew inding the clock Life follows the footsteps of time. Eat, sleep, drink, excrete, repeat, no one is exempt from these daily routines, for they are the necessities of life. Obviously, a person lacking any one of the above will be caught in a very austere situation. Unfortunately, many people don’t realise that it’s the same with healthcare; forget to keep an eye on health for a day and it’ll deteriorate. However, as health deterioration is a light and subtle feeling, everything in the body will feel hunky-dory in the short run. Hence, prop- er health maintenance is often overlooked. However, after a decade or two, symptoms and diseases start to surface, and the disparities between the health-conscious and the health-ignorant will be blaringly obvious. I have a great deal of concern for my employee’s diet and healthcare. One of my em- ployees, Mr. Si, began to take care of his health at the age of 40, and is still currently doing so. He told me an interesting story: When he was 55 years old, he attended his secondary school reunion and was shocked when he stepped into the room. He thought that he had come in on a wrong day because all the attendees seemed so much older than him! The room was rife with the sick and obese, and almost all of his classmates had gone out of shape! What fills me with regret is that many people, after resolving their health issues through detoxification, in- dulge themselves and do not persist in taking care of their health. They are oblivious to the fact that cancer cells never take a break. If we, even for the slightest moment, neglect our health, then the development of can- cer cells will not be curbed. If we wish to prevent cancer development, we must eliminate cancer cells nonstop. We should seize the opportunity to annihilate them while they are still feeble. By the time a cancerous tumour develops and adverse symptoms manifest, it would already be too late, and more effort would be required to fix the problem. On top of all these, hav- ing lived in such a toxin-laden environment for so many years, how much toxins do you think we have accumulated in our bodies? All organs need detoxification To detoxify effectively, we must go through detoxification that tar- gets our cells, tissues, organs and biological systems. Different areas require different detoxification methods, because the human body is a complex unit. Each organ and tissue type requires different nutrients. For example, the nervous system relies heavily on vitamin B complex and calcium; the digestive system requires probiotic and fibre; the circulatory system needs a good amount of vitamin E, co-enzyme Q10, etc. If you observe the world closely, you will discover that apart from God who is flawless, nothing is perfect.
