GLOBAL HAND WASHING DAY On the occasion of Global Hand washing Day, our School Nurse, Ms. Dhanya Johnson, conducted a session on the importance of hand washing, on Thursday, 14th October 2021. Children were taught how to wash the hands to keep them away from germs and also how and when to wash the hands. Children learnt a lot during the session.

NUTRITIONAL DAY Nutrition Talk: As we all know that eating healthy food keeps us fit and active and especially the children, at their growing age, need a nutritional diet. To educate them on the importance of eating healthy food and the consequences of eating junk food, Dr. Jaiger Chinthamani, conducted a session, on the virtual platform, on Sunday, 17th October, 2021. Children enjoyed the session and learnt a lot about the topic.

Gandhi Jayanti Celebration Gandhi Jayanti Celebration: Kinderwise celebrated Gandhi Jayanti on Sunday, 3rd October 2021, on the virtual platform. KG 1 children dressed up as famous personalities, who were strong followers of Mahatma Gandhi (Kasturba Gandhi, Sarojini Naidu, Acharya Vinoba Bhave, Mother Teresa, and Rabindranath Tagore). Children from KG 2, participated in dance and speech about Gandhiji. Children from KG 1 and KG 2 also par- ticipated enthusiastically in the ‘Swachata Abhiyan’ at their homes. All the children enjoyed a lot.



COMMUNITY HELPERS We celebrated our community helpers by hav- ing our tiny tots by dress up and speak few lines about their favourite community helper. Here, we share few glimpses of our aspiring little ones, por- traying themselves as their favourite community helpers.



DIWALI CELEBRATION The festival of lights, was celebrated on Thursday, 4th November, 2021. All the children looked beautiful and vibrant in the Indian traditional attire. Diwali Mela was conducted at school with several stalls. Children, along with their teachers, made a beautiful Rangoli, at school. There was a special online programme. Children learnt the importance of celebrating Diwali. They made colourful Di- yas, as a part of the Diwali activity. At school, children from KG 1 and KG 2, performed Diwali dance. Nivina Chandrasekar from KG 1 E, sang a beautiful Diwali song.



FLAG DAY UAE Flag Day: Kinderwise celebrated UAE Flag day on Wednesday, 3rd November, 2021. All the children were dressed up in UAE Flag colour dress. They were so excited and happy to wave the flag of UAE. They also made the flag, as a part of the UAE Flag Day activity. There was a Special Assembly at school, as well as, on the Virtual platform. Principal, Ms. Indu Panicker, hoisted the UAE Flag.



ANTI BULLYING DAY Anti – Bullying Week: ‘Be Kind to Others, Don’t Bully Others”. To educate the children on the topic, Anti – Bullying week was observed from Sunday, 21st November 2021 to Thursday, 25th November 2021. Children were taught about being kind to everyone. They made posters to depict Anti – Bullying.

UAE NATIONAL DAY The 50th UAE National day was celebrated with much enthusiasm and fun, at School and on Virtual Platform. All the children looked very colourful in the UAE Flag colour dress, Abaya and Kandura. Children from KG 1 and KG 2 performed a spectacular Arabic dance. They also made ‘Palm Printing’ with UAE Flag colours.



CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION The tiny tots of Kinderwise enjoyed celebrating Children’s Day on Sunday, 14th November, 2021. A special assembly was con- ducted on the Virtual platform to mark the occasion. All the teachers enthusiastically participated in the wonderful cultural event. It was a token of love from them to their beloved children. Sanjay Shaju from KG 2 D, had dressed up as Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and delivered an informative speech on Independent India’s First Prime Minister.



CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION Kinderwise celebrated Christmas with much fun, joy and enthusiasm. Special assembly was conducted at school and virtual platform. At school, children from KG 1 and KG 2, performed a beautiful skit on stage, depicting the birth of Jesus Christ, based on the Story of Christ- mas. It was very much appreciated by everyone. At virtual platform, children performed vibrant Christmas dance and the teachers sang melo- dious Carols. All the children actively participated in Christmas craft activities. They made Santa Clause, Christmas Trees and Reindeers. The entire Kindergarten department was decorated to mark the festival of love and harmony.
