About the Course Leaders ADVANCED MANUFACTURING Dr Tan Puay Siew spearheads the Model Factory@SIMTech and has many years SERIES of experience in ICT implementations and large scale projects, with deep expertise in complex systems, Industrie 4.0 and system architecture. She has a PhD in Computer Science and degrees in Mechanical Engineering. Dr Roland Lim has strong expertise in operations management, manufacturing & supply chain strategy, and productivity planning & implementation. His industry experience has enabled him to gain extensive knowledge of the best practices and solutions to tackle various business challenges. He holds an EngD in Industrial Engineering, and MSc & BEng in Engineering. Mr Toh Ming Hon is a Senior Consultant, who specialises on business transformation. He has helped numerous companies to innovate their business models and achieve more than 100% productivity gain using digital technologies. He holds a BEng (Hons.) in Electronic Engineering and a MBA. Mr Ma Bin has over 25 years of experience in operations management and business transformation. His work accolades include A*STAR STAR Employee Award 2014, A*STAR Borderless Award and Ministry of Transport’s Merit Award 2010. He holds a BEng in Computer Software and a MTech in Knowledge Engineering. Dr Ng Huey Yuen led the development of the Digital Transformation & Innovation™ (DTI™) Methodology. His expertise lies in business model innovation and inventory management. He holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, and was awarded the National Science Scholarship.
