Kindergarten Assembly An assembly is a gathering of all or part of school for any varietyof purposes, such as special programs or communicating infor-mation on a daily or weekly basis. It helps to develop spirit; feel-ings of affiliation and unity among students. It enables students toshare stories and performances, as well as their abilities/talents. Assembly provides good training in social behavior and it cancontribute to student motivation through recognition of achieve-ment. Another important benefit of assembly for students is that itis a platform for them to gain experience in performance, and par-ticularly in public speaking which will make their future fruitful. Our kindergarten gathers every Wednesday’s for the Assembly. The assembly will start with a daily morning prayer followed by aQirath. Then student will stand enthusiastically in the position forthe Bhavan’s pledge. After this kids will move on to the news read-ing time to inform us what’s happening around the world with afew National and International news. Then we will move on to theentertainment section where the children can show their talentsnarrating a story, solo singing or group singing. Next the mic will be handed over to the class teacher who will beproviding the knowledge of Moral values to the children. Later thePrincipal will spread some valuable words which will be very bene-ficial. Finally all will be taking the attention position as they hearthe beautiful lines of the UAE National Anthem.

Community Helpers by KG 1A community is a place where people live and work.People in your community help others. Our tiny tots of our kindergarten kg 1 they dressed upas community helpers like Doctors , policeman ,chef , Fire fighter , Nurse and they gave a speechabout the community helpers. They introduced bythemselves as a community helper. The day was real-ly wonderful.Look for the helpers , you will always find people whoare helping .You have two hands . One to help yourself , the sec-ond to help others .

Community Helpers by KG 2A community helper can be defined as any person who helps with ourhealth and overall well-being. Community helpers include police man, dentists, doctors, firefighters, even grocery store workers!Drilling the tiny tots just a few sentences and worksheets we felt as ausual thing in the class .This made us to think out of the box and muchbroadly in their angle. We just wanted the kids to connect to the variouscommunity helpers through role playing. Role playing is a great way topractice scenarios that you think your child may encounter in their lives. And this really worked out well.KG2 teachers decided to club togetherboth the neighbourhood places with the community helpers. Each classtook a theme like Police station, Fire station, Hospital, Restaurant andSupermarket.Corridors were set to those theme completely fledged at its best.Children were in dress code according to each theme. On 26th November2017 children reached the kindergarten with great spirit and that energyand smile was there throughout the day. Children played their role tre-mendously and continued with high enthusiasm. Supermarket attractedthe kids mostly. Sales, billing were all done so perfectly which made usamazed. Doctors, Police officers, thieves, Chefs were role playing at theirbest.A l-Saad board themes were struck everywhere. We were honouredto have our beloved Principal Ma’am and Director Sir on this event. We could see their radiant face that day which really made our day treasured too. Lots of appreciation was showering from one and all. Take aways were done by kids on the same day which made our kids more glad. Role playing has a relevant role in kids Role play which stimulated their imagination and enhanced their social development, encouraged friendship, respect through cooperation, listening and turn taking. We felt that role play is a vital activity for our children and winded up the day with a self-content feel to make our kids unique and extraordinary!

Parents VoiceIt was during the winter of Dec 2015, when we as new parents embarked on ajourney to find a school for our daughter. It was while filling in formalities forother school forms in websites that I had come across the Al Saad Indian School(Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan), Al Ain. The school had invited us over to come andvisit the school in response to our enquiry about the school. At first we hesitated as the school being at distant location and doubtful if ourchild can cope with the journey to school. The first interaction with the manage-ment and teachers were pleasing when our daughter was undergoing her inter-view. She joined school in academic year 2016-17.When we entrusted our daughter to the school’s care – the constant hick-ups ofcrying, interaction = 0 level & not wanting to go to school thoughts was slowlychanged. The school gave back our daughter with little pockets of joy day by day, months grew wiser, more responsible and more mature than she was. It’s beena true privilege to see her personality unfold day by day and be amazed by herdevelopment. We never thought that it would be the school for our daughter. The school’s teaching methods is different and is kids are not burdened with ki-los of homework from the school. The homework given is pretty interactive withthe lesson portal on giving the gist of what is covered for the day. The class is al-so interactive added with ACTIVE mutual interaction and participation betweenteachers & engaging students. Accolades of happiness and appreciation sharedbetween teachers and their students. The school’s star feature is NO STUDENT LEFT BEHIND. Thanks to the Teachers &Principal, we have seen that students like our daughter are given a chance to bepart of the new future young global citizens.

The school’s emphasis in Parent Teacher meeting is a strong point. The schoolwants the parents to be involved in the child’s education; as they are also awarenot just in the daily lessons but also prospects in other activities and be their mo-tivators after they leave school. Extra-curricular activities flavored with fun activi-ties, cultural participation & awareness is quite attractive as all kids are given achance to participate. With their teachers taking part of the role of life coachesand expressions are a jolly to see when they go hand in hand with their students. It going to be 2 years in school and daughter retains a memory of the good timesof her Teachers & Principal, her adventures in her classroom with her friends andshares with our family.Lastly Thanking the Management, School Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Sup-port Staff for being in the teaching/ education industry. Thank you for nurturingthe next generation and bringing out the potential with your innovative, fun andcreative teaching methods/ lessons and will always remembered by our daughterand being a positive influence in her life ahead.Wishing all students, teachers & management a continued success in achievingtheir goals and aspirations for the years to come.Best RegardsThomas VictorFather of Angelina Elsa Thomas (KG-2-B)
