Inter- disciplinary learning, sometimes known as interdisciplinary studies, is a planned approach to learning which us- es links across different subjects or dis- ciplines to enhance learning. It pro- motes the development and application of what has been taught and learned in new and different ways. The overall topic for Cycle 1 was decided as “Arabic Monuments”. Under the topic of “Arabic Monuments” each grade has been assigned with different topics. Stu- dents were divided into groups accord- ing to the subjects and had displayed their knowledge they have gained re- garding the topics in the charts. All the students have participated very actively and it was well supported by all the subject teachers. The project com- pleted successfully at the month of De- cember 2019 and was displayed on the bulletin boards. It is discarding the meaningless and stressing the true values.” On 12 December 2019 Bhavans Al Saad Indian School, Al Ain celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ in the true spirit of Christmas. All the students and teachers came dressed up in white and red elegant costumes to embody the serenity of Christmas. The carols by the tiny tots from kindergarten echoed throughout the campus dur- ing their pageant. Mr. Mathew, the HoD of Social Science dressed up as Santa Claus added more colour and beauty to the cele- bration.
