BLOOMING BUDS - October 2017

An Assembly is a gathering where all the kindergarten sections will jointogether on every Wednesdays. During the assembly the kids will learn differentstories, values, and many more.Assemblies are an inspiration for the kids as they can take part and build theirconfidence by performing on the stage in front of all the Kindergarten sections.Every assembly is anchored wonderfully by one of our little tots from eachclass.Assembly will start with the daily Morning Prayer. Followed by the holy versesfrom Quran.Then students will stand in pledge position for the Bhavans’ pledge.After the formal part, will move on to the News reading where kids will comeand inform us about some International and National news. Then we will moveon to entertainment section where kids will come and narrate some moralstories, poems and some valuable information about our past leaders etc.After this kid will hand over the mike to their own Class Teachers for Teacherstalk where every time teacher will teach our little ones some moral values etc.Later Principal Ma’am will bestow us with her valuable words.Finally we will end our assembly with the UAE National Anthem where all thekids will stand in attention and sing the UAE National Anthem together.

KG 2 CRainbow Lorikeet of KG 2 C had a stunning performance onthe 04th of October, 2017 where Nidhul presented the Masterof Ceremony. The assembly started with a Prayer songfollowed by the Quran recitation by Farhan of KG 2 C.School pledge was said by Neha from KG 2 A

As this assembly was held on04th of October we celebratedGandhi Jayanti on this day,Anahata of KG 2 C said some linesobout our beloved Gandhiji, whichwas followed by news reading byAnaswar of KG 2 C.An Honest wood cutter story wasnarrated very nicely by Janavi fromKG 2 C followed by a sweet song byAbigail.Our Principal Ma’am and classteacher had a short talk with thestudents which then ended with theUAE National Anthem.

KG 2 DA fabulous performance by White peacockof KG 2 D on 11th of October, 2017 whereGautham Krishna who did Master ofCeremony. The assembly started with aPrayer song followed by the Quranrecitation by Neima and Imran of KG 2 D.Next the school pledge was said by Anirudhfrom KG 2 D. News reading was done bySteve and Ananya, after which Imran fromKG 2 D narrated a story Little by Little,one more story Goldilocks and the threebears was said by Neima of KG 2 D thenTaniya form KG 2 D said a short speechabout our former President Dr. A.P.J. AbdulKalam.Our Principal Ma’am and class teacherhad a short talk with the students whichthen ended with the UAE NationalAnthem.

KG 2 E A rocking performance by KG 2 E on 18th of October , 2017 where Nidhulwho did Master of Ceremony. The assembly started with a Prayer songfollowed by the Quran recitation by Muddaseer and Neha Fathima of KG2 E. Next the school pledge was said by Eviline from KG 2 E.As this was the Diwali week Janvi Sreedevi had talked about DiwaliFetival. Next News reading was done by Jeslin of KG 2 E, after whichDiya Sanjai from KG 2 E narrated a story ‘Hare and the Tortoise’ Afterwhich a beautiful song ‘This is the light of mine’ was sung by fewKG 2 E kids, Sivanya, Ann , Abilash, Hanna,Haiqa.Our Principal Ma’am and class teacher hada short talk with the students which thenended with the

The assembly started with a Prayersong followed by the Quran recitation by Ayra of KG 1 A. Nextthe school pledge was said by Nivaan from KG 1 A. Next Newsreading was done by Nathan and Ivaana of KG 1 A, after whichIsha and Karthik from KG 1 A narrated a story ‘Thisrty crow.’Our Principal Ma’am andclass teacher had a short talkwith the students which thenended with the UAE NationalAnthem.

Open housefor Kindergarten held on14th of October

A Teacher would inspire a child to reach academic successand A Parent should inspire their child to use that successin a way that influences positive change in the world.“When Parents or Guardians and Teachers work togetherwell, every child wins…”Open house is an occasion when Parents and Teachers shares theprogress of their child. Same was held on 14th of October for theKindergarten sections; where all our Teachers shared the child’soverall progress with the Parents.





Parent Orientation was conducted for Grades 1 to 9, on the sameday at 12 PM, regarding the new subject addition by the ADEK(Department of Education & Knowledge) - Moral EducationProgram (MEP). The subject has been introduced in school witheffect from 1st October, 2017.

2nd Teachers’ ConferenceHeld at Abu Dhabi University, Abu Dhabi

2nd Teachers Conference was held at Abu Dhabi university in AbuDhabi on 27th October 2017 and was a grand ceremony. Almost tenteachers from Al Saad Indian School got the chance to attend theconference.It started with the prayer by the students and then the NationalAnthems of UAE and India .Opening remarks were given by Prof. Hussein Saber, Interim Dean,College of Business Abu dhabi University, followed by a shortintroduction about the Teachers Conference by Swavvab Ali, Director,Yup2 Events. Inaugural speech was given by Ms. Smita Pant, DeputyChief of Mission of India to UAE, then a short speech was given by,Dr. M addul Salam, Dr. Sheena Shukkur and Dr. Thakur S.Mulchandani. After which Dr. Mohammed Razik Parakandi gave ashort speech about Abu Dhabi University

Later a mind-blowing session was conducted by Dr. Sangeeth Ibrahim,Vice President- Head of Learning & Development, Business Excellence- Sharjah Islamic Bank on “Developing a growth mindset in teachersand students” for about an hour. Wherein he discussed the crucial is-sues about the little push, support and motivation the kids need fromtheir teachers to defeat their inner weakness and to succeed with lessobstacles through his encouraging words like ‘YOU MUST’ and ‘YOUCAN’.After this Award ceremony was held for those who participated inRamadan Quiz named SUAAL 2017. Later a short presentation onBYJU’S – The Learning App was given, it’s basically an app wherein kidscan learn various concepts without difficulty.Second featured session was given by Dr. Petra Turkama, AssistanceProfessor of Management & Director of Innovation Centre- AbuDhabi on “Innovation culture through student centric approach.”

Later an incredible session was given by Ms. Aarti C Rajaratnam, Innovative Curriculum and Education Design Consultant- Million Smiles, about “Using the principles of emotional intelligence to facilitate learning.” It was all about the ability to monitor one's emotions and ideas about how to deal with the situation.After this closing session, all the respected Principals of differentschools who were present during the conference were honoured. Theconference ended with a short recap followed by closing remarks.Participation certificate was provided to all the Teachers who attendedthe Teachers Conference.
