STUDENT LIFE Page 92

Hey AISVN music lovers, we are the Music Council here!!! As a group of passionate students, we have worked tirelessly to orga- nize events and create opportunities in order to bring our school’s students together. Our events have encompassed everything from small Eagle Cafe performances to the Christmas Fair, Tet Fair, and MUN conference. To look back on the first year of MUSICO, we are incredibly proud of this small impact that our council has had on the AISVN communi- ty. We have contributed to the arts, as well as the music values of our school, and we have tried to provide students with endless oc- casions to develop their musical skills and express their creativity. As we move forward, we are excited to continue our work in pro- moting the arts and music culture here at AISVN, while committing to expanding the scale of our events and making an even greater impact on the wider community. We believe that music has the power to bring people together, and we are excited to share our passion for music with others. With a continued focus on promot- ing the arts, we are confident that our efforts will continue to make a positive impact both within the AISVN community and beyond years to come. Page 93

DEBATE CLUB The AISVN Debate Club is committed to cultivating an atmosphere that encourages critical thinking, effective communication, and respectful discourse. Our members have diligently prepared for both formal and informal debates on a wide range of topics, from politics and current events to everyday occurrences. Thanks to further collaborative efforts and dedication of our advisers, members, and external partners, we have been able to organize fruitful events that promote intellectual curiosity and provide opportunities for growth. Nevertheless, as a newly established club, we recognize the need for improvement and look forward to working on it in the future to better serve our promising community. We are grateful for all your support and hope to further inspire others to engage in constructive discourse in the years to come. Thank you for a wonderful year, and we wish everyone the best in their future endeavors. - AISVN Debate Club executives Page 94

MUN Conference Page 96

As we celebrated the 10th annual American International School Model United Nations Conference in February with the theme “In Pursuit of Solidarity” and welcomed back the much-anticipated in-person conference, this year was a special year for AISVNMUN. After two amazing seasons of after-school training and mock debates, delegates were able to participate in the AISVNMUN conference as well as MUN conferences organized by other international schools outside of Ho Chi Minh City. We would like to express our gratitude to our distinguished delegates, chairs, admins, and press members since. The February Conference would have not been a success without all of your effort and dedication. The MUN community is a great community to be a part of so we hope to see you next year. Best, Emily Page 97
