THE FIRST TEE OF GREATER BALTIMOREThe First Tee of Greater Baltimore is a yearround program that impacts youth by providingeducational programs that build character,instill life-enhancing values and promote healthychoices through the game of golf.Our program reaches over 30,000 students annually through a numberof initiatives. The National School Program brings golf and charactereducation to youth during the school day as part of Physical Education.We also partner with other youth serving organizations such as theYMCA to offer programming after school. Our green grass programreaches over 800 students annually at the five Baltimore City municipalfacilities. Additionally, our Girls Golf, Military, and fitness programskeep our students active year round.

THE FIRST TEE CLUBThe First Tee Club members give generously to helpoffset the costs of coaching, equipment and courseaccess. Our vision is to ensure students graduate highschool and continue to college. We provide additionalresources to reach these goals such as SAT Prep,reading assistance, mentoring and scholarships.Your support allows for the continued operation of our program and givesGreater Baltimore youth the tools they will need to provide leadership bothon and off the golf course.• Since 2014 we’ve raised over $100,000 from local Baltimore clubs and their members.• Help grow the game of golf and expose thousands of students each year to the inherent values of the game: Integrity, Honesty, Respect, Perseverance, Sportsmanship, Judgment, Confidence, Courtesy, and Responsibility.• Provide tutoring, quality golf instruction, mentorship, scholarships, and equipment.

The academy allows participants to be paid caddies and worktowards the all expenses paid Evans Scholarship.Four students have received college scholarships through the Caves ValleyGolf Club Foundation. In 2016, DeAndre Diggs was honored as the, “CavesValley Scholar” receiving a full scholarship to the University of MarylandEastern Shore to study Professional Golf Management. Over the summer,DeAndre will continue his education working at Caves Valley Golf Club.

The First Tee Club members provide young people of all backgroundsthe opportunity to develop the skillsand values that lead to success both on and off the golf course.

THE COST OF IMPACTThe membership of The First Tee Club raises funds to offset our programming costs.Your support deeply impacts the lives of our students and their families. Life and golf skills for 30,000 elementary school students annually. After-school and weekend classes at Forest Park, Clifton Park, Carroll Park, Pine Ridge, and Mt. Pleasant Golf Courses Girls Golf, Military and Fitness Programs which allow year round opportunities Paid caddying jobs for 20 chapter participants and college funding for exceptional students with need ESTIMATED ANNUAL PROGRAMMING COSTS: $600,000
