Perhaps the hardest hit by the increase were the teachers. Many teachers gave up their conference periods to teach additional classes in order to accommodate the extra students. lhe students had no easy task in the middle of all of this either: many shared lockers with two other people instead of just one. Some students also had the problem of not having enough desks in their classrooms for the first weeks of the school year. lhree extra portable classrooms were added. lhe counselors. along with the reg'strar, completed over 100 schedule changes just to reduce the sizes of classes, some of which had more than 45 students in them. What will next year bring? Because the new school will not be ready in the fall, we will have to cram 1,900 students in the halls. Friendly, huh? The primary objective for Kinderbeets is to work on their main motors kills. They are taught to count, write their names, repeat the alphabet, and play constructive games. Thechildren also develop socially by meeting new friends. The high school students also learned new things as they helped teach the children. The preschool helpedJHS students to learn discipline and guidance techniques. lesson planning and how to teach the childrenso they would learn and develop from their experience here at Jordan.
