SLC Underground

Consider this a VERY unofficial tour of Salt Lake City. We assume you have already heard a good piece of the standard version of Utah and Salt Lake City so we feel no need to be balanced in our approach.

Travelers on the London Underground are advised to "mind the gap." This "underground" tour of Salt Lake explores the "gap" between the Salt Lake of travel brochures and the even stranger, very local Salt Lake that has found a way to thrive in the shadow of the dominant culture of Utah.

If you haven’t figured it out yet, we are not physically going underground to the tunnels of Salt Lake, or the sewers, or the catacombs. Our “underground” tour is completely above ground if not entirely above board. Lighten up, have some fun, and don’t take anything we say too, too seriously.
