The heART of Communication Introduction We are two of Joel Bauer’s students who have had the extraordinary opportunity to be accepted into Joel Bauer’s MasterClass. We really had no choice but to write this book as the experience we had in MasterClass was so transformational we felt we needed to write about it. We received permission from Joel to pull back the curtains of our experience for our friends and family. In this book, we have included thumbnails that Joel has approved which are massively valuable and have changed thousands of lives for those people who were accepted into Joel’s MasterClass. For me, Debbie, as a highly paid female executive working with one of the largest motion picture companies in the world, this experience represents an awakening for me. For the first time in my life, I felt that I had permission to be my true self and to show the world the gifts I didn’t even know I had inside of me. I knew I wanted to speak to people about my experiences with life and climbing the corporate ladder, but I didn’t know how to communicate or connect effectively with audiences. And I almost missed out. Taking four days out of my schedule seemed like an impossibility to me; I was simply too busy. If it hadn’t been for Ron Levy, who is a trusted advisor to me and one of the people I trust most on the planet, who relentlessly contacted me about attending a two-day free weekend with Joel, I would have never gone to the weekend event or MasterClass. And thank goodness I decided to take a chance on myself, and a chance on Joel. The only person I would have hurt in this process was me, oh and my family, and my team at work and 2|Page

The heART of Communication my friends. For the experience has profoundly changed me and I’ve grown in ways that I never would have expected. I have been transformed through the process. I think differently, I speak differently, I prepare differently, and I even look differently than I did prior to MasterClass. Not only did I find the techniques and skills that are simple to implement, I found a tribe of like-minded individuals who have become my extended family in a few short months. When I’m with this group of people, I feel alive and inspired. In many respects, I had given up on a happy and fulfilling life. And now I feel alive, energized to jump out of bed each day and excited to see what I can create and how I can support others in their journeys. This book does not reveal everything we learned, for it would be impossible for us to try to recreate the entire MasterClass experience. This book contains the key take-aways of two students who attended this extraordinary life-changing event. We were not paid to create this book. We have decided to write this for you, the prospective MasterClass student, to give you a glimpse into a possible new world that awaits you. It doesn’t matter if you are a doctor, a corporate professional or a student, you will learn valuable skills and techniques that will help you succeed in any endeavor you take on. The heART of Communication Speaking Techniques “I’m learning to connect from the heart, share my proven process, giving myself permission to be me while making mistakes along the way!” The Healer to Healers “You overcome nerves through practice, repitition and frequency.” ~Joel Bauer What really kind of threw me for a loop, is here I am this corporate communicator, this high-powered executive who’s being celebrated by one of the world’s largest corporations and I kind of thought I knew how to speak. I had mostly overcome my fear of speaking in front of an audience, where I stand before a large group of people and I look them in the eyes and I feel good about what I’m talking about, confident I will impart knowledge they need. I felt pretty good about myself and I’ve been very effective. 5|Page

The heART of Communication WOW. What a wakeup call! Joel revealed to me that I hadn’t really found my voice. He taught me to find my power, and to find a shift in perception which has amplified my perceived value. It was done through a series of tools, techniques and a systematic approach to speaking which took Joel about 40 years to refine. The amazing thing is that he was able to transfer it to me as if it were a gift, an award. He was able to install these techniques experientially through a series of exercises throughout the four- day class. What’s amazing is that even people in the room who I thought wouldn’t speak, who I thought might be shut down or on a detour emotionally or physiologically; even they were doing it. “People’s greatest fear is public speaking; you have been speaking your whole life.” ~Joel Bauer And everyone was fearless. Joel took us from fearful to fearless, but not careless. He did it so thoughtfully, it was his practicum, his interactive immersive experiences, his techniques, and it was his commando approach of just trying something on that seemed like a game to us, the participants. But it was anything but a game. I was thrown for a loop. 6|Page

The heART of Communication He showed me how to take my experiences and plug my life into the techniques that he was teaching us. It’s so natural, there is nothing to memorize. It is not salesy or manipulative. It’s what I was looking for. He was preparing us throughout the four days and it felt completely natural. He creates an environment with a sense of community and deep connection amongst those in attendance. You feel as though you are in the safest place on the planet with loving people. Joel let us know it is okay to make mistakes, to be imperfect, to not be too attractive or in perfect shape. “Never show the audience something they can’t do,” is something that Joel frequently says. He showed us ways of relaxing ourselves and changing our state of mind, so that emotionally, before we even engage an audience, we can take on a certain state of mind that is real. We can access our emotional recall from the perfect space and the perfect place from our actual reality in life. This blew me away. It has empowered me to communicate more effectively with my groups not only in Corporate America, but my personal life as well. I feel that now, I am much more effective and persuasive in my negotiations and discussions. “I have been empowered to communicate more effectively than ever before.” 7|Page

The heART of Communication Since MasterClass, I’ve already built my program, processes, pitch, delivery and content. I know this never would have happened, certainly not in a matter of weeks or months, if it hadn’t been for Joel’s proven process. My advice to you is to go into the MasterClass training with an open mind and an open heart. Don’t analyze it, don’t examine it, don’t try and figure it out, just accept the gifts as they are delivered and awarded to you from morning to night on Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4 and sometimes even more. “Joel will exceed your expectations. Joel exceeded my expectations.” Not only did Joel give us the languaging skills, but he taught us the choreography which was so natural for how to move and how to really groove with an audience; when to touch, when not to touch and how to connect with the audience. It was amazing, and it was all so natural. He also made it known that if we choose to run an event, we are becoming an event whether we were speaking to 1 or 50,000 people. The heART of Communication He even revealed techniques that allow your voice to become resonant and powerful. He revealed techniques that change your modulation, your inflection, your timbre and your tonality, that enable you to connect and to penetrate those who normally would shut you down and would not give you the time of day. “He taught us to present ourselves in such a way, that we are unforgettable at the first point of contact.” ~Deborah Newman Joel really taught us to present ourselves in a way, verbally and physiologically that is unforgettable at the first point of contact. And then he taught us to persuade people through these techniques and tools who normally would be shut down. We were also taught to preserve the relationships through marketing skills, tools and tactics that quite frankly were so complete it was amazing. And all of these were gifted to us in the assets, but that is a whole other story. 9|Page

The heART of Communication Now the real capper, which really blew me away and I think everyone else in the room, is that Joel showed us a technique that was so simple, we thought that he was delivering a presentation from memory, but he wasn’t. It is a technique where words are delivered automatically to your brain so that you don’t have to memorize anything. Naturally, you can learn those words because they are your own. The technique was amazing. He instantly showed us that something so complex could be done by anyone in the room and they were able to recite verbatim an entire 5-minute presentation using this technology and technique. I don’t want to scare you. The technology revealed cost me $4. Once again, the event was transcending my every expectation. His remarkable technologies will amaze even the most dedicated of skeptics.” Speaker & Life Coach I couldn’t believe that in four days (it felt like four seconds), Joel got me over the fear of not only speaking in front of an audience, but also the use and set up of audio equipment. He takes the technology and makes it simple. He showed us the specific type of headset and microphone to use, exactly how to use the microphone and the precise positioning for optimal voice projection. The heART of Communication You don’t need to know how it works, you just need to know what to get. He shows us that for less than the cost of renting, you can own your own equipment. For less than the cost of a television, we can literally be in business over night. During MasterClass, we are learning to be our own one man show. Recently I was at an event with Joel, where I was a fly on the wall. I witnessed a lot of money spent on equipment rentals for the event, but it would have cost nothing if the company had invested in their own equipment. Plus, there were issues with the sound and other equipment rental failures throughout the event. Joel puts you in a position where you have no fear of running your own events whether it’s for one, 500 or 5,000 people. We can also consider leasing out our equipment as another possible revenue stream. And best of all for me, I don’t have to be dependent upon other people or potential challenges at the venue. “Joel teaches you the equipment to buy saving you $$$ on rentals. And you can rent out your equipment to others as another possible revenue stream.” 12 | P a g e

The heART of Communication Joel is turning you into a consultant, producer and speaker whether you like it or not. You end up being a director, producer and speaker with the ability to manifest your own outcome. Since leaving his MasterClass, we have run multiple events using the techniques he showed us. The venue staff have been amazed at how much we know given we are not professional event producers; although we are well on our way towards becoming just that. “We are taught how to run our own events independently, not as a codependent upon Joel.” Joel literally runs world class events single handedly for up to 3,000 people and teaches us to do the same. He also lets us know that we are an Event whether we are communicating with one person, in a team environment, or an audience of 500 or 500,000 people. The skills can be used for television, internet, podcasts, webinars and in-person events. Joel is preparing us to become our own event in life, where our words and our emotions become eventful and extremely valuable to our communication partners. 13 | P a g e

The heART of Communication As a corporate executive with one of the world’s largest motion picture companies, I realized and recognized that everything Joel is teaching us would impact my life even within the context of the unique world that I live in. The skills and techniques can be applied for any business, any endeavor, any launch, or any communication. He’s not just preparing us for the stage, he is preparing us for the life stage. “Mystery, not History.” ~Joel Bauer Joel demonstrates, independent of his online class, so many distinctions about dressing as a female. They were so vital that I applied them instantly in Corporate America and in my personal life where I, as a female, and the men in the room were no longer being judged as sexual or sensual beings. As a result, our perception and perceived value have been massively amplified. It’s as if in a matter of seconds, he teaches you the secrets that are never taught by anyone lecturing on how to dress. He’s really showing you how to wrap your package and how you are being perceived as a human being, facilitator, communicator and trainer. I found that his comments and his demonstration in this area alone, including his shift in body language and overall demeanor, were incredible to learn and helped me to realize how I could improve my communication style. 14 | P a g e

The heART of Communication One of the things that stood out to me was that Joel never pushes anyone beyond what they are ready for. I saw people who were shut down at first, and once they learned some of the techniques and saw others stand up and speak, they couldn’t wait to get up in front of the room. Everyone in that room voluntarily took on challenges, transcended their fears, never felt pushed and, in fact, wanted to participate when normally participation wouldn’t even be an option. 15 | P a g e

The heART of Communication I saw people there that were shut down, emotionally distraught, where public speaking was their number one fear, and they couldn’t wait to come up in front of the room and communicate the process because Joel made it so inviting, enticing, natural and organic to our being. It’s like we were born to speak, born to close, born to communicate, born to facilitate, born to motivate and born to inspire. It’s as if we were born to do this, and we didn’t know it until we attended MasterClass and received permission to do what it is we already do naturally. “It’s as if we were born to do this, but we didn’t know it until we attended MasterClass and received permission to do what we do naturally.” However, we don’t communicate naturally unless it’s activated within us through a series of transferable skills, tools, scenarios, and interactions with immersive techniques that Joel implements seamlessly at MasterClass. You don’t realize you are learning to do something that might take 20 – 30 years to figure out. Suddenly you are learning to do what you didn’t know you could do. You can communicate on a level that people dream of but cannot articulate. If you have expectations of higher productivity and profitability levels, and continue to do what you’ve always done, you should expect nothing. The world has changed and is ever-changing. Joel’s skillsets, tools and processes prepare you for that constant change and in fact relax you. It puts you in a position where you welcome the change and embrace it, giving you the added flexibility and adaptation to where, potentially, you’ll never suffer again. 18 | P a g e

The heART of Communication As a female in Corporate America, but managing the male movers and shakers in one of the world’s best known and largest companies, I can tell you that I thought I knew a thing or two about communication. I was very adept in the rules of listening, responding and making presentations that were obviously very effective, because quite frankly, I have been celebrated. Yet, I didn’t know what I didn’t know. I didn’t realize that Joel would reveal to me trigger mechanisms, that have taken him literally just short of four decades to assemble and that those tools would tap into the needs, concerns and behaviors of the world’s population. It’s as if you can read someone’s mind when he gives you these language components. Then, if that wasn’t enough, he taught us a very advanced but super simple method for breaking language down and getting people to be clearer on how they process speaking and delivering their messages. “I didn’t realize that Joel would reveal to me trigger mechanisms, that have taken him just short of four decades to assemble, and that those tools would tap into the needs, concerns and behaviors of the world’s population!” 19 | P a g e

The heART of Communication And so, it’s as if he changed not only my vocabulary and gave me the most powerful words for conversion and suspension of disbelief, but he also gave me words that motivate immediate action both in Corporate America and even with my son and husband. It’s affected all areas of my life. Then he taught me about the order, sequence and syntax in the delivery of language. None of this was complicated, in fact it was all quite simple and seamless. “Joel taught me the order, sequence and delivery of language which has helped me not only in Corporate America, but with my family as well.” I had no idea during the event what was happening to me. It’s as if he is magically working on five or six layers that you are unaware of, affecting your subconscious mind. Suddenly, you can do something that you have never been able to do before, and that is have people hang on your every word and follow your suggestion, and we are talking a large percentage of those you communicate to and with. This skill alone was worth the time and price of admission, which in the grand scheme of things is not very much at all. Here I was decades into my life and career and just learning these things. I am amazed that we are not taught these concepts, techniques and skills much earlier in life! How I envied the millennials and the few teenagers in the room. Joel is teaching life skills that can be used for all aspects of life. Concepts that as far as I can tell, no one else is teaching. 20 | P a g e

The heART of Communication “Imagine if I had been exposed to Joel’s process 20 – 30 years ago. My life would be very different.” As a highly celebrated major executive with tenure, I know a thing or two about what works and what doesn’t. I had no idea that I was attending a training that would invite me, motivate me and inspire me to change the quality of my life. It was as if I was living in darkness with compromised choices. I felt enlightened. It’s like someone opened a door for the first time and I saw my true path. As if everything else has been a compromise, even though I was incredibly successful because I’m disciplined and I’m a bright woman. But the reality is had I had known there was another path, one that felt entirely congruent and natural, as if it was a gift, I would have made some different choices. Imagine if I had figured this out and had been exposed to Joel’s process 20 – 30 years ago. How would my life be different? Well, my life would be jumping out of bed every morning to seize the day doing something I love versus doing something that really compromises my identity and empowers someone else’s outcome. I am thankful that I have found Joel and his teachings now: it is better late than never. 21 | P a g e

The heART of Communication Establishing Rapport “Joel identified four principles that never occurred to me before where you can talk to anyone, male or female, anywhere in the world, and they will hang on your every word and follow your suggestions.” ~ Deborah Newman One of the massive payoffs for me, which I find myself using not only with family and friends but in communication within the huge company that I work in, is the challenge of establishing rapport, building credibility and securing attention at every point of contact. Joel’s skills and tools made this so simple that literally, in a matter of seconds, you can engage them. He identified four principles that never occurred to me before where you can talk to anyone, male or female, anywhere in the world, and they will be hanging on your every word and following your suggestions. 22 | P a g e

The heART of Communication He taught us the core principles that came from Joel’s 27 years working as a professional pitchman for companies which included Intel, Motorola, Toshiba, Apple and IBM. The techniques create an instant rapport, and quite frankly I just don’t understand why they weren’t taught to me early on in either college, graduate school or elementary school. If you were going to prepare a human being for life, you would want to teach them the principles to establish credibility, build rapport, secure attention at the first point of contact and be remembered. And yet these principles are not taught. “I realized I had been living by everyone else’s rules, not my own.” It’s as if I found myself at a training event where I realized that it was necessary for me to live my own life by my own design. I realized I had been living by everyone else’s rules, not my own. Joel opened my eyes to the world of possibility that I could create my own reality. I’m doing that now, every day and no longer living by everyone else’s rules. I’ve created my own set of standards to live by. 23 | P a g e

The heART of Communication “I realized I was getting all the answers, not only to monetize, but answers to my personal freedom.” I realized I was getting all the answers to questions I didn’t even know I had. Not only the answers to monetize, but the answers to my personal freedom. And the answers which would free my heart, soul and intellect. To finally do in life what it is that is fully meaningful. These concepts are not taught once at MasterClass but reinforced through the inclusion of his entire membership system for one year as part of the cost. I don’t know if he’s going to continue to do that, but he gifted it to me and he gifted it to everyone else who signed up for that MasterClass if they were currently not part of it. Quite frankly, I found myself in a position where I knew that failure would be impossible. 24 | P a g e

The heART of Communication Joel lets us know that it’s OK to make mistakes, not to be too pretty, to wear glasses or to not to be in the best shape in our lives, because this is not what the audience connects to. Joel taught us, which was one of the most important takeaways, never show the audience something they can’t do, show them only what they can relate to. They will consume the person they can relate to, who has done something that has manifested a level of freedom and leverage that they never thought possible. The person they can relate to is the person they will follow. If they think you have extraordinary gifts or tools, where they cannot embrace it or it’s not duplicatable, then you’ve given them a reason not only not to buy, but to shut you off. “They will follow the person they can relate to.” 25 | P a g e

The heART of Communication “Every single skill and every single experience is meant to be carried outside of the learning suite into our real lives.” Joel is preparing us for every day of our lives. It is not something that we are just going to use in the classroom. What I realize in looking back now, is that there wasn’t one wasted moment, including interactions with other students and sending us to lunch that he pays for. And there is a reason for that. There is a reason for everything this guy does. Even when you think he may be digressing, there is a process backing his commentary. “I realize looking back now that there wasn’t one wasted moment during the four days.” 26 | P a g e

The heART of Communication When he coaches one person, initially you may feel like: “Why is he not coaching me at this exact moment?” He is always coaching the entire room. When Joel makes a comment to one person, he is really addressing the needs of the entire group; this new family. And he sure didn’t abuse the word family because I came away with some of the closest relationships who I currently interact with daily. A culture was manifested of people with like minds and intentions wanting to achieve dramatic results in their lives, that are emotionally and financially fulfilling on all levels. They want to truly contribute and make a difference while they are here, but in no way compromising the integrity of wealth generation. We are given all the tools, all the skills and all the support, post event. I realize that Joel had built a membership that is so extensive, that we are guaranteed success if we go through all the modules and implement his teachings. “A culture was manifested of people with like minds, with like intentions, of wanting to achieve dramatic results in their lives.” 27 | P a g e

The heART of Communication Overcoming Objections “Joel earned his consulting fee within ten minutes of walking into my office. Joel showed us how to increase perceived value, which diminished attendees concerns to our high-ticket platinum program.” Internet Guru, CEO Piranha Marketing “They are looking for a reason not to buy.” ~ Joel Bauer What really blew me away is here I am an executive who has been making high six figures in salary, stock and benefits, compromising my life doing something that I don’t particularly enjoy that takes up most of my time. Now suddenly, I realize and recognize that I can generate the kind of money that I’ve been able to make in a year through 60, 90 or 120-minute events, in-person or through webinars; it just depends upon the audience. And what’s amazing is that I don’t have to be salesy or manipulative. 29 | P a g e

The heART of Communication “I learned the thinking, the languaging and developed the ability to overcome all of their objections.” Joel revealed processes, tools, techniques and systems that now empower me to not only suspend the disbelief of the audience, giving them permission to embrace my service, my support, my product or a combination of all of this, but he also taught me to have them invest and understand that it’s an investment. He showed us examples of people who have brought in large sums of income through a simple technique that is transferable to anyone. Joel teaches us skills that we would never learn in a traditional education or sales training. Joel made it look simple, and I have found post-MasterClass that it is simple. He gives us unique solutions that are based on a private world that most of us would never see. He pulls back the curtain… “If not now, when? If not me, who?” ~Joel Bauer 30 | P a g e

The heART of Communication For me, I found it compelling that he took the selling, the “salesyness” and manipulation out of it. And now people literally are almost begging me to buy. They are wanting to buy my process, my products and my principles, before they are even ready for the marketplace. “Joel teaches you a system that turns you into a leveragable communicator who knows that ultimately what you are doing is going to be in the best interest of everyone.” And that is another principle that Joel taught us which is to make the money upfront, before we execute. So, if we find out there is not an interest, we can simply change our approach. Joel even provides flexibility in our thinking, in our actions and in our processes. It is fantastic! It has affected and impacted me in Corporate America allowing me to understand the thinking, language skills and ability to overcome all their objections. Objections like: It’s too expensive. I must consult with someone else. It’s not the right time. How do I know I’m ready? 31 | P a g e

The heART of Communication All those objections that come up on a reoccurring basis, I can now overcome. Joel taught me the psychology and the syntax of how you turn an objection into an asset. And it benefits you and benefits them. It gives your audience permission to move forward and embrace the opportunity that will change their life or turn the company around, taking it from being in the red to the black. In a fraction of the time and effort, you essentially have learned to overcome all their objections before they can even manifest an objection. So, when it comes time to close, they are already closed. Closing doesn’t just happen in the end; I learned it happens on all levels of negotiation. “You learn to overcome all of their objections before they can even manifest an objection.” 32 | P a g e

The heART of Communication Now I find myself at home with my son and my husband where I’m able to effectively communicate my needs as to where we go and where we eat and create more balance. I’m able to get business partners to adapt to my schedule so that I can spend more time with my family. They think that they are making an independent decision, but in fact it’s part of the system. The system that turns you into a leader. The system that turns you into a leverageable communicator who knows that ultimately what you are doing is going to be in the best interest of everyone that you are embracing and empowering, nurturing and nourishing with the right direction and the right content. “Joel teaches you a system that turns you into a leveragable communicator who knows that ultimately what you are doing is going to be in the best interest of everyone that you are embracing and empowering.” 33 | P a g e

The heART of Communication Revenue Options “As a direct result of Joel’s training, I discovered the real value of my knowledge and how to monetize my passion in ways I never imagined. My hourly rate tripled after 1 day at Passion2Profit and I have more clients than ever before.” Author, TV Personality, & Entrepreneur I had no idea that this event was going to prepare me for so many streams of revenue. And so much leverageable wealth building income to manifest any outcomes that I would have for my son. Literally this event was going to be a legacy move for me, where I could leave a dynasty to my son. He was giving me all the closes that would monetize without being salesy or manipulative in any environment, online or offline. And he was turning me into a corporate trainer, also making me a consultant, a platform closer able to conduct public events, able to generate a minimum of 4 – 10 referrals a month through a proven system and qualified people. In fact, he was also preparing me for joint venture sales. Joel teaches you so many ways to make money that your only challenge is deciding how much you want and whether you can even handle it. I had no idea that there were so many ways you could generate income outside of the traditional job. 34 | P a g e

The heART of Communication The alignment, the quality of the networking, the alliance and accountability partnerships are all part of his networking process which I don’t want to reveal here. Joel has a special transformation mechanism that he has built. I guarantee that no one felt they needed a network because it was all done automatically for them through a proven process. These techniques allow me to conduct my own event as well as to create a pitch for someone else or myself. Even coaching and a membership program can be developed. Joel was preparing us for all these revenue options. “Joel teaches you so many different ways to make money that your biggest challenge is how much you want to make, secondary, can you even handle it?” I have thought a lot about retirement and have been saving for that eventuality for years. So much about my life has been about playing it safe. Joel says that retirement is when your passive income transcends your lifestyle costs and you are factoring in the needs of your children and the rates of inflation. My ability to monetize through these revenue streams, where I’m generating income automatically through passive income, is going to get me to where I want to be much sooner than I thought possible. 35 | P a g e

I am seizing the day and making my dreams come true. “Carpe diem…Seize the day!” And I realize there is no difference between me speaking, which Joel taught me, in front of one person, or me speaking in front of 5,000, 50,000 people or 5 million people, online or offline, whether I’m on the radio or television or interviewing for a magazine. Most people don’t have a plan in life. It’s always impressive when you meet anyone who knows exactly what they want. Dreams come true if you have one. Most people don’t know what their dream is. “Dreams come true if you have one.” Joel prepares us to conduct an hour webinar, a six-minute power pitch, a five-minute commercial, autoresponder campaigns and events that are half-day, full-day and multi- day. The heART of Communication The Assets It was interesting, he had us on our feet, everything optional and not mandatory. None of us were ready to go home. And then the support ensued. The videos, the behind the scenes consultations and the webinars with other students. The assets were clearly worth $100K. Anyone who uses them could be worth millions and they have been for those who have implemented. I know because I do my research. Due diligence is my middle name and I’ve done it for many years for many large organizations with millions of dollars on the line. When I’m going to get involved with something, I do my homework. I’ve done my homework on Joel, and I’ve come to find out that he is congruent and sincere in everything he is doing. For me, I can only be on a winning team, otherwise it’s not worth the effort. When I started to go through these, and it took me close to two weeks to get through them, I suddenly realized that this man must be either quitting the business or dying. Why else would someone hand you their life’s work? “Many of the students wondered why Joel gave us so much in the assets. Was something wrong, was he quitting the business and handing us his legacy?” Why else would someone hand you all their contacts and their databases, including all their public relations contacts for television, radio, newspaper, magazine and beyond? Why would they hand us their contacts? Their graphics? Audios and interviews? Why would they do that? Why would he hand us pitches and things that are already built for us and ready to go? 45 | P a g e

The heART of Communication What I really couldn’t believe, is that inside the system that Joel handed us, was an entire business, almost turnkey. He gave us the pitch, the process and the ability to rebuild something that could generate easily thousands of dollars per sale that every person on the planet needs. I couldn’t believe what Joel put in the assets. Literally, more data than the library of Congress, all organized, all synthesized, able to replicate, duplicatable and sustainable that could be activated for our business to change our lives. He gave us a database that took a lifetime to build of the assets, tools, and techniques. A portfolio of things that could instantly be repurposed and reused, that he has spent his lifetime trying to figure out. Well he did figure it out. And then he decided to gift it to us. Once it dawned on us just how much he was giving us, and it wasn’t over with the post-event support, I and the other students felt like we hadn’t paid this guy enough money. So, a couple of us decided to ask Joel why he gives us all these assets and half-jokingly whether he is dying. He said absolutely “I’m dying, everyone is dying. That’s why I have no reason to hold back. We are all dying.” Joel doesn’t want us to die with a bucket list. He wants us to have a life that is fulfilling, and balanced, full of integrity and love. I can’t argue with a man who is completely congruent. He means what he says 100%. The heART of Communication Life Before and After MasterClass When it was all said and done, I knew that I was going to make a lot of money and I already had relationships from the integrated networking that Joel made happen through his proven and transferable mechanism, which I’m not going to reveal here because it’s Joel’s intellectual property and he gifts it to you at the event. The most profound take away I had was that I was not the same Deborah Newman that went in as when I came out. I came out with a new vision of a life by my own design, realizing and recognizing that I had been living my life by default. It was every woman, and every man, whether they were a doctor, lawyer, student or corporate professional like me attending that event. That they were able to connect in a profound way. That they just didn’t want the event to end. Because it was the first time in their lives that they had ever worked on learning who they are and what their contribution is and how to monetize that, so you can do what it is you love and get paid to do it for the rest of your life.
