Grammar Study: Simple future tense Read the text. Tomorrow I will get up early in the morning. I will call my friend Raman at my home. We will go to visit my grandmother. She will give us letters. We will take them to the post office. We will put stamps on them. We will post them. Next week there is my birthday. I will invite my closest friends. They will come to me in the afternoon. We will go to watch a movie. We will have a party in the evening. We will sing, dance and enjoy a lot. Tomorrow I won't go out. I will stay home. I will revise Science and English. My exam is near. My friend Sony will come to me. We will study together. The sentences with the structure ‘sub+ shall/ will + v1 + obj’ are in the simple future tense. They show future time. The simple future tense is used with ‘tomorrow, soon, tonight, next, etc' to show future time. She will buy some postcards soon. Will you meet me tomorrow? They will go for swimming next week. The milk is fresh, isn't it? Somebody broke the bench, didn't they? If the subject is a pronoun, use the same pronoun. If the subject is a noun, change it to a pronoun. • Use 'it' for a singular non-living thing or animal or uncountable noun. Water is essential for us, isn't it? The book was there, wasn't it?
