Editors Message Dear Readers, What’s your recipe for a happy day, well let’s read my composition. Wash your day with water to remove all negative germs. Take a bowl and mix punctuality, physical activities, and soak it in the morning sunlight. Blend the day with assorted friends till the fresh Smiles are released. Add a Pinch of scolding, discipline, and games to improve the taste of the day first stop with love and warms the family. In the end sprinkle of few pieces of advice in it and your happy day is ready so with a good heart in your society. Don't forget to preserve it to buy flavouring memories in a beautiful jar called life. My recipe for a day is thus ready to be served. However, while going through a few forwards I encountered one of the videos that pills/drugs/syrups are not medicines, said Rashmi, team member from the editorial. We have other integral activities like sleep, sunlight, abstinence from some food, fasting, detoxification, being with nature, music, meditation, walks, laughter and time spent with family categorize to a bright and healthy lifestyle. Have you heard about delayed gratification? Asked Sumeeta. It is the act of resisting an impulse to take an immediately available reward in the hope of obtaining a more-valued reward in the future. For instance, a parent gives their child a cookie after they've done their chores. The ability the delay gratification is essential to self-regulation, self-control, and self-love. Saving money for retirement instead of spending it now. Not eating everything on your plate because yo want to save room for dessert. So self-love leads to happiness and thus helps us to be healthy. A little reminder not to miss the August issue, it’s engaging and intriguing with the topics of health and wellness. Editorial team Sumeeta, Rashmi and Diana

VE And now I am advising you all, to be in healthy state like me you all should follow the steps given in the above Article…. Rainy Days Rain, rain, go away, my little sister sings every day. This is our family rhyme in the monsoon season, as we cannot go outside to play. In summer we wore sleeveless dresses and vests. We used to go to parks to play and stay there until we were called home for dinner. Others would cycle their way all around and people had their celebrations in the open. The temperature used to reach forty-five degrees. In summer, we went on vacations with our parents to visit places or see relatives. Every week, we went to the shops to get ice cream. The sun boiled us if we didn’t wear sunscreen. If there was a power cut, we would pray for it to come back because the fans wouldn’t work. The sun drunk out all our energy. In the hot summer days, we were always praying for rain and when the rains came, now we wish it was dry. As the rainy days started it turned us upside down. Now we wear thick sweaters over our dresses, we manage our time at home with our siblings, and other people are setting up their functions indoors. We are avoiding ice creams. In the rainy days the weather is very pleasant. Trees grow luscious fruits, and their leaves are lush green.

When the sun and rain are together, we can see a beautiful rainbow. My sister and I had fun making paper boats to sail them in water puddles. A rainy day is a lot of fun for kids. As they step out of their homes, umbrellas in hand and make their way down to school, some children happily play in the rain and go home soaking wet. I wouldn’t even dare to go in that heavy rain as I am worried, I may catch cold or some infections. A lot of infections usually spread in rainy season. The sandy roads turn into a road of pits everywhere. On a rainy day, there will be a lot of traffic at the evening times on weekdays, as every parent wants to get their child home safely from school. Sometimes offline schools are turned online when it rains heavily. Most of the time we must miss our outdoor activities at school as the ground is filled puddles. Though the rains cause a bit of trouble to me, Surleen Dash I pray for the rains so that it could help the farmers 5C and crops, and we get food.

online education is an equal substitute for traditional learning, but a hybrid model may gain traction in the future. Post covid students have now become accustomed to technology-rich learning, which is making the transition back to a traditional classroom not only difficult for them but also for facilitators too. Blended classrooms are the need of the hour. The challenge we as facilitators are facing is to inculcate civilized behavior and discipline in students as they are so much used to the flexibility of the home environment, in online classes. They have severe attention deficits and get vexed easily. There is a lot of knowledge gap and skill gap in almost every student. Every day it is a breath-taking 40 minutes, to devise different strategies for different levels of students. Students are lacking focus and seriousness for assessments too. Daily writing and reading practices need to be firmly inculcated in students. They lack vocabulary building and spelling. There has to be a consistent effort from facilitators, students, and parents to overcome an overall gap in learning. Before the pandemic, much of our curriculum focused on developing traditional life skills that will see children grow up into wellfunctioning adults. Thanks to the pandemic, however, this focus has shifted somewhat towards a more holistic set of life skills suitable to an unpredictable and rapidly-evolving world One key takeaway from the pandemic is that conventional classroom teaching with human contact is still the best mode of learning. However, technology is a great enabler and hence has a significant role to play in the education system. Curricula are being adapted to now also develop skills such as emotional intelligence and empathy alongside more conventional skills, such as good communication, diligence, and honesty. Another skill that needs to be taught that future citizens are bound to look for is the ability to remain calm and focused during periods of immense stress, and to adapt swiftly to a changing working environment. The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted the educational system in many ways. While there have been various disruptions and stressors to deal with, there are also many positive things that have stemmed from the situation, facilitators and students have become more tech-savvy, lots of digital resources are available, communication and approaches have become more transparent and we need to teach another type of skill set for change and adaptiveness for unpredicted future. Such hands-experience is put into practice at PMS, Alwal by the teachers where the little pallavians experienced as a warm-up activity to introduce Volcano. Wow, what an amazing fun learning activity! The concept of Human Volcano was explained by the social teacher Mrs. Jayshree Adhyapak through a fun-loving activity where the students could remember and were easily connected to the concept. Could you remember playing Lion & Dear game? Learners of grade 7 were asked to make a circle holding hands tightly of each other. They should not allow any of their friends who are inside the circle to go out and at the same time, those who are inside the circle have to try their best to come out. Bingo! they came out now. Can you guess the concept from this game? Yes, you are right. It’s Volcano eruption. How the molten magma makes a way to come out from interior of the earth to its surface and making change in the land form. Children participated in this game with full enthusiasm and enjoyed thoroughly. It was amazing to see that class 7 children were able to recognise the concept and learnt it in an innovative way where they can never forget it. M Sumeetha Menon

B.Sathwik 6a BODDU HEMANANDAN REDDY Poem : Rainy Days Class: 2D, Section: Marigold Rain, rain, go away, my little sister sings every day.

Sometimes offline schools are turned online Surleen Dash when it rains heavily. Most of the time we must miss our outdoor 5C activities at school as the ground is filled puddles. Though the rains cause a bit of trouble to me, I pray for the rains so that it could help the farmers and crops, and we get food. Poem : Friendship The Ship that never ends \"Friendship\" Small, sweet words... Cute and best memories.... A person's first priority is his/her family, second priority is friends... non-other than least. An acquaintance is always small. In friendship, the time is always insufficient There would be thousands of stories, G. SaiCharan Sathwik yet another story keeps adding up. 10A Small, sweet words... Cute and best memories.... This isn't something that could be learnt like a song or dance. If you ask what friendship is... It's a lesson no book can teach us. It doesn't come to you when you wish for and it don't leave you when you want to forgo. If you ask me who is a friend... I'd say a wealth that can be inherited There would be thousands of stories, and grows yet another story keeps adding up. Small, sweet words... Cute and best memories.... Friendships are sweet memories that are printed row in our hearts. Even smile has no value without sorrows. It is the friendship that makes you smile though you have tears in your eyes. There are thousands of stories, yet another story keeps adding up. Small, sweet words... Cute and best memories.... I say, my friends are the best, true friends and they are forever. Love you all
