‫اﳌﺮاﺟﻌﺔ ﻣﻦ اﻟﺪرس اﻟﺨﺎﻣﺲ‬ :”‫• َﻣ ْﻌ َﻨﻰ اﻟﻜَﻠِ َﻤﺔ “ َﻓﺎ ِﻋ ٌﻞ‬ .‫اﺳﻢ ﻣﺮﻓﻮع ﻳﺪ ّل ﻋﲆ ﻣﻦ ﻗﺎم ﺑﺎﻟﻔﻌﻞ‬ A marfoo noun indicating to who carried out the action. .‫اﻟﻔﺎﻋﻞ ﻫﻮ اﻻﺳﻢ اﳌﺮﻓﻮع اﳌﺬﻛﻮر ﻗﺒﻠُﻪ ﻓﻌﻠُﻪ‬ The doer is a marfoo’ noun, its verb is mentioned before it. ‫َﺧ َﺮ َج اﻟﻮﻟ ُﺪ‬ ‫اﻟﻮﻟ ُﺪ َﺧ َﺮ َج‬ In the above sentences, where is the fa’il? ‫َﻣ َﻊ‬ ‫ﻗَ ْﺪ ﻳَ ُﻜﻮ ُن ﻇﺮف زﻣﺎن أو ﻣﻜﺎن أو ﺣﺎل أو ﺣﺮف ﺟﺮ ﻋﲆ َﺣ َﺴﺐ‬ ‫اﻟﺠﻤﻠﺔ‪ .‬ﻟﻜﻦ ﰲ ﻫﺬا اﻟﺪرس ﻫﻮ ﻇﺮف ﻣﻜﺎن‪.‬‬ ‫اﳌﺪر ُس َﻣ َﻊ اﳌُﺪﻳ ِﺮ‪.‬‬ ‫ُﻣ َﻀﺎ ٌف إﻟَﻴ ِﻪ‬ ‫ﻇﺮف ﻣﻜﺎن‪،‬‬ ‫َو ُﻫ َﻮ ُﻣ َﻀﺎف‬ ‫دروس اﻟﻠﻐﺔ اﻟﻌﺮﺑﻴﺔ ‪ - ١‬اﻟﺪرس اﻟﻌﺎﴍ ‪117‬‬

‫اﻟ َﻔ ْﺮق َﺑ ْي َن ﻋﻨﺪ وﻣﻊ‬ To understand the difference between ‫ َﻣ َﻊ‬and ‫ ِﻋ ْﻨ َﺪ‬remember that if you say: ‫اﳌُ َﺪ ﱢر ُس ِﻋ ْﻨ َﺪ اﳌُ ِﺪﻳ ِﺮ‬ “The teacher is with the headmaster”, it means that the teacher ha gone to the headmaster’s office and he is with him there, but if you say: ‫اﳌُ َﺪ ﱢر ُس َﻣ َﻊ اﳌُ ِﺪﻳ ِﺮ‬ This doesn't have a restriction. He can be with the headmaster anywhere. 118 ‫ اﻟﺪرس اﻟﻌﺎﴍ‬- ١ ‫دروس اﻟﻠﻐﺔ اﻟﻌﺮﺑﻴﺔ‬

‫)ﻻم(ﻟِﻢ‬ .‫َﺣﺮف ﺟﺮ‬ We have learnt ‫ ﻟِﻢ‬in lesson 6, which means “belonging to”. When it is attached to pronouns it takes a ‫ ﻓﺘﺤﺔ‬: 119 ‫ اﻟﺪرس اﻟﻌﺎﴍ‬- ١ ‫دروس اﻟﻠﻐﺔ اﻟﻌﺮﺑﻴﺔ‬

‫ﻟَ ُﻬمَا ﻟَ ُﻬ ْﻢ‬ ‫ﻟَ ُﻪ‬ ‫ﻟَ َﻬﺎ ﻟَ ُﻬمَا ﻟَ ُﻬ ﱠﻦ‬ ‫ﻟَ َﻚ ﻟَ ُﻜمَا ﻟَ ُﻜ ْﻢ‬ ‫ﻟَ ِﻚ ﻟَ ُﻜمَا ﻟَ ُﻜ ﱠﻦ‬ ‫ِ ْﱄ ﻟَ َﻨﺎ ﻟَ َﻨﺎ‬ ‫ﻳﺎء ُﻣﺘَ َﻜﻠﱢﻢ ‪َ when it joins with‬ﻛ ْ َﴪة ‪ only takes a‬ﻟِﻢ‪The‬‬ ‫دروس اﻟﻠﻐﺔ اﻟﻌﺮﺑﻴﺔ ‪ - ١‬اﻟﺪرس اﻟﻌﺎﴍ ‪120‬‬

‫اﻟ َﻔ ْﺮق ﺑَ ْي َن ِﻋ ْﻨ َﺪ َوﻟِﻢ‬ ‫ِ ْﱄ أَ ٌخ‬ Meaning: I have a brother, literally- A brother belongs to me. ‫ِ ْﱄ ﻓَ ٌﻢ‬ Meaning: I have a mouth, literally- A mouth belongs to me. It is wrong to say: ‫ ِﻋ ْﻨﺪ ْي ﻓَ ٌﻢ‬/‫ ِﻋ ْﻨ ِﺪ ْي أ ٌخ‬because it is used with things which are separable. Relations and parts of the body are not of this nature. 121 ‫ اﻟﺪرس اﻟﻌﺎﴍ‬- ١ ‫دروس اﻟﻠﻐﺔ اﻟﻌﺮﺑﻴﺔ‬
