I am Ritu Pradhan. Today our class teacher took us for an outing. Firstly, we went to an old age home (Dharmashala). We saw many old aged people living there. My mother had given me some clothes and food for them. We distributed them among the people. We also sang songs and danced for them. They were very happy to see us. Then we went to an orphanage. Our teacher told us that those children who do not have parents are called orphans and they live in an orphanage. We saw many children who are just like us. We donated books, pencils and copies to them. They were very happy. We also enjoyed playing with them. After we returned to school we saw our school guard lying on the ground. He had fainted. We immediately informed our teachers, and they rushed him to the nearby hospital. Today we met many people who needed help. We felt glad to help and spend some time with them. We should always remember that there are many other people in our community who need help. Isn’t it our duty to help such people?
