Chairman's Speech Mr Narsi Kularia Dear Stakeholders, Chairman Many Congratulations to the stakeholders on the completion of 8 years of Furniture and FFSC Fittings Skill Council! The Furniture & Fittings Skill Council saw year-over-year growth, with more industry members joining the council and expanding the connection with #Skill Ambassadors. Team FFSC’s guiding principle is to create long-term value and provide skilling solutions to all the stakeholders which include Industry, Skilling Partners and Learners. We are happy to see that our Council is expanding in the last year with the increased engagement of 51+ (micro, small, and large) industry members, the signing of 500+ #SkillAmbassador MOUs, and the addition of more stakeholders to strengthen the FFSC Regional Skill Chapters. We are thrilled to acknowledge the remarkable success of our #SkillConsciousEmployer Program, which aimed to foster a #SkillCulture within the industry and enhance engagement for companies. Through this carefully designed implementation program, we were delighted to have over 100 companies actively participate, with a collective workforce of more than 4,500 individuals trained and certified. The commitment shown by these companies in investing in the development of their workforce has been instrumental in inspiring other industry partners to follow suit. Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to our dedicated #SkillExperts, who played a pivotal role as members of the NOS Group. Without their invaluable contributions, this program would not have achieved such exceptional outcomes. Last year’s growth is due to the council's diverse quality service portfolio, brand image, long-standing relationships, and goodwill with its industry players, skilling partners and other stakeholders. In particular, I want to thank our stakeholders for their trust in the management team, which in my opinion, is now prepared to handle future challenges. I appreciate my colleagues on the Governing Council and the team for their support. This would not have been possible without the steadfast efforts, devotion, and passion of the FFSC team, who have helped us get to where we are now and shall remain committed as we move forward. Our industry holds crucial roles As Skill Ambassadors, we are torchbearers of our mission. As Employers, let us invest in our workforce's development. As Skills Experts, let us adapt to industry needs. As Skilling Partners, let us forge collaborations. As CSR contributors, let us recognize our social responsibility. Let us embrace our responsibilities with passion and a shared sense of purpose towards growth of our industry and nation. With Regards, Narsi D. Kularia 01

RAJESH MITTAL Co-Chairman's Co-Chairman Speech FFSC Esteemed FFSC Members, 02 As we reflect on the Annual Report's achievements, it is evident that we have made significant progress in establishing a strong skilling ecosystem. However, our journey has just begun, and we must strive for more. I am of the view that we are much behind to other skills development entities and there is tremendous need of skilled manpower & resources in our industry for growth, if each industry partners like us doesn't come together and participate then we will always behind as this is the need of hour. Let us come together as One Nation, One Industry. By collaborating and sharing best practices, we strengthen our collective impact and drive the skilling agenda forward. Leveraging the diversity and expertise within our General Body, we can address challenges collectively and create a thriving skilling ecosystem. Our industry holds crucial roles as Skill Ambassadors, as Employers, as Skill Experts, as Skilling Partners, as Corporate Social Responsibility. Let us embrace our responsibilities, with passion and a shared sense of purpose. I would like to emphasize five areas of focus that will guide our journey towards a skilled and prosperous industry: 1. Increasing Industry Strength & Participation: By expanding our industry network and involving companies of all sizes, we can ensure a comprehensive representation and maximize our collective impact. 2. Mainstreaming Upskilling and Apprenticeship: We need to create an ecosystem where skilling and apprenticeship are deeply embedded in our workforce development strategies. By promoting apprenticeship programs, we can bridge the gap between education and industry, fostering a talent pipeline for the future. 3. Strengthening Skilling Infrastructure: By establishing more industry led and supported training centres, leveraging technology for online learning, and enhancing accessibility, we can ensure that individuals have access to quality training programs and resource. 4. Awareness & Aspiration amongst Academia & Youth: By collaborating with educational institutions and youth organizations, we can showcase the potential of a career in our industry and encourage more individuals to pursue skill development. 5. Building a Skill Culture: Our industry's growth depends on fostering a culture that values and promotes skills. As Skill Ambassadors, let us lead by example, creating an environment where skill development is highly regarded and continuously nurtured. In pursuing these focus areas, I invite your active involvement, collaboration, and innovative ideas. Together, we can drive the growth of our industry, empower individuals with skills, and contribute to the nation's development. Thank you for your dedication and continued support. Let us embark on this journey together, creating a brighter future for our industry and nation. Yours sincerely, Rajesh Mittal

Mr Rahul Mehta CEO's Chief Executive Officer Speech FFSC Dear Esteemed Stakeholders, It is my privilege to present the 8th Annual Report highlighting our key achievements and learnings from the year 2022-23, which shall pave way for future endeavours. This year has been remarkable for us, as we have made significant progress in setting up a strong skilling ecosystem for the Interiors, Furniture, and allied industry in India. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all our #SkillAmbassadors, whose unwavering belief in the #PowerOfSkills has propelled our success. With your dedication and support, we have witnessed remarkable growth, increasing from 76 to 587+ Skill Ambassadors across India. The #PowerOfCollaboration has been the key driving force in our journey. We reached out to the identified FFSC Regional Skill Chapters, through industry meets, academic partner meets, learner meets, exhibitions, and more, creating a platform for fostering knowledge sharing, networking, exchange of ideas, which led to an exponential increase in our brand presence. As a result, we are pleased to report an 85% increase in membership, a testament to the growing support for #SkillIndiaMission, and acceptance of our initiatives. With an intent to develop a #SkillCulture amongst industry, and create ease of engagement for companies, we initiated the #SkillConsciousEmployer Program. Through a guided step by step implementation process, 100+ companies participated and their 4500+ workforce trained and certified. We truly appreciate the efforts of our #SkillExperts, who participated as NOS Group members, and facilitated the development of New Qualifications, conducting Training of Trainers/Assessors programs, development of content, and conducting training programs. We have also developed a fleet of in-house Master Trainers & Skill Experts, who are adding tremendous value to our programs offerings and its implementation. We are proud to share that all our #SkillPavilion Exhibits during the year, were Designed-Built- Installed in-house showcasing the #PowerOfSkills. While the overall government funded programs had gone down this year, 7900+ certifications only, we worked towards scaling up our flagship #Meri Skill Meri Pehchaan program, and certified over 5,000 individuals and an additional 700+ under our paid programs. This gives us the confidence to offer more customised programs going forward, that are demand-driven and industry funded. Building upon the collaborative a Public-Private Partnership model to develop robust training infrastructure, we signed 2 MOUs for development of FFSC Centre of Excellence with NSTI Hyderabad and Bengaluru. These Model Centres shall aid in development of more #SkillingPartners under our Beginner & Apprenticeship Academy Model. We take immense pride in our efforts to promote #SkillStars. India's representation in all 03

three trades at the WorldSkills Competition for the first time demonstrates the exceptional talent and potential of our skilled workforce. While celebrating our accomplishments, let us remember that our journey is far from over. WorldSkills Competition journey has been a great learning experience, giving insights into the best practises followed around the world by countries like Korea, Germany, Japan, China, etc. They have been reaping the benefits of the investment they have made in formalized skilling ecosystem over decades, and it goes beyond having the right infrastructure, it is about having a #Skill Culture. As we plan our way forward, we have to be #Skill Conscious as an individual, as a company, as an industry, and develop a #Skill Culture. Only then can we truly grow with the #PowerOfSkills and make our Nation, the Skill Capital of the World. In the coming year, through our initiatives, we aim to: 1. Formalise and engage industry via FFSC Regional Skill Chapter Model 2. Mainstreaming upskilling and apprenticeship through #Skill Conscious Employer Program 3. Building Aspiration for Industry by Recognition of Existing Success Stories 4. Solving entry barrier with appropriate Design-Build-Install-Manage programs 5. Building more Industry led/supported Training Infrastructure on collaborative model Indian Interiors & Furniture industry offers great opportunities and together, we can create a skilled workforce that drives innovation, economic growth, and social prosperity. I express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Narsi Kularia, Mr. Rajesh Mittal, Mr. Saurabh Jain and FFSC Governing Council members for their trust, active participation and support throughout the year. Lastly, I thankful to my team at FFSC, who have taken up the challenge to #Skill India with both passion and commitment. Let's continue to Grow with the #PowerOfSkills and #PowerOfCollaboration. Best, Rahul Mehta 04

The curriculum gets divided into different modules or stages, each focusing on specific competencies or areas of expertise. • FFSC uses the model of “Training-Apprenticeship-Job”, where upon completion of a training program, a candidate can avail apprenticeship opportunities to pursue on-the-job training on prescribed outcomes. • To support such a model, FFSC developed 2 new Apprenticeship Curriculums at NSQF Level 2 and 3: *List of video courses developed by FFSC in-house in FY 22-23. Hindi Translation: • As mandated by MSDE and NCVET, FFSC is required to develop Qualifications in multi-lingual formats to facilitate the outreach of such qualifications to the different parts of the nation. • With such an initiative, FFSC has translated 12 such qualifications into Hindi Language. CERTIFICATION OF CARPENTERS INVOLVED AT NEW PARLIAMENT PROJECT Furniture and Fitting Skill Council (FFSC) working under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) in collaboration with the NDMC jurisdiction and NARSI Group trained and certified 910 carpenters under the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) program. The project is aimed to augment the skill training of carpenters. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a component of Skill India's flagship scheme Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) and is an assessment process used to evaluate a person's existing skill sets, knowledge, and experience gained either by formal, non-formal-or informal learning. 40

SPECIAL PROJECT- TRAINING OF JAIL INMATES The Special Projects component of PMKVY envisages the creation of a platform that will facilitate training in special areas and/or premises of Government bodies, Corporates, or Industry bodies, and training in special job roles not defined under the available Qualification Packs (QPs)/National Occupational Standards (NOSs). Special Projects are projects that require some deviation from the terms and conditions of Short-Term Training under PMKVY for any stakeholder. A proposing stakeholder can be Government Institutions of Central or State Government(s)/Autonomous Body/Statutory Body or any other equivalent body or corporates that desire to provide candidates training. Nowadays Jails are being treated as correctional homes. Presently in many such homes concerned authorities are sincerely considering to better the situation of the inmates. Prison Authorities are also interested in livelihood training for the inmates which can bring significant changes in the living standard of the inmates and subsequently in the rehabilitation process. Almost 5 lakh people are lodged in various jails in the country. Most of them are the bread earners of their families. Hence a huge number of people are directly affected. Most importantly many people are serving long, are left abandoned by family, when released, have no place to go, and have no money to do anything. The people, who are likely to be released within a year, will be supported in placement and self-employment on release. They will be supported by giving market connections and a fundamental tool kit. Plumbers, Electricians, and Carpenter are doing very well after release as they used to get regular critical exposure in jails after training. They have very good hands-on training which makes them extremely confident. The skill certificate works as a catalyst for market entry. Similarly, demand for the selected job roles in the market is high. Normally there remains a gap between expectations and offered salary for trainees who are trained outside as they are updated with the local market's situation. But for prisoners due to the cut-off from the outside world, any job is a good job. They desperately need something to settle with. The summary of the Training Programs initiated in various jail premises is given in the table given below: Job Role Location Candidates Candidates Lead Carpenter - Wooden Furniture - (FFS/Q0104) Enrolled Certified Gujarat & Tamil Nadu 35 34 PMKVY CSSM The Centrally Sponsored State Managed (CSSM) component of the PMKVY scheme is managed by the respective State Skill Development Missions (SSDMs).
