This course combines practical and theoretical learning to provide students with a comprehensive set of horticultural skills to get a job in plant nurseries, garden centres, landscape companies, golf clubs, parks and a range of related areas. The programme addresses such areas as brain injury education, memory, general cognitive (thinking) skills, daily living skills, literacy and numeracy, computers and psychological support. The Quest team works to assist individuals to re-acclimate themselves post injury. This enables a return to work, education, maximisation of independence, and overall improvement of general function. Quest Brain Injury Services are funded by the HSE and cater for people in the Galway, Mayo and Roscommon regions. The service is available free to brain injury survivors between the ages of 18 and 65 years of age. 135
