The Royal Development Projects have helped to preserve the art of silk weaving and helped to promote Nong Khae Village as the origin of high-quality silk. More importantly, this has helped to put Thailand on the world stage through the Queen’s silk products.

There’s a basket with mulberry leaves over there, as well as some disinfectants for the tools. ครบ! มีไข่ มีอปุ กรณ์ กร็ อ ๑๐ วนั นะ And that’s it! Now that we’ve got the eggs and tools ready, we wait about 10 days.

Then they’ll go to sleep for an entire day.

They’re so short and stumpy! How cute! At this stage, they’re almost ready for harvest.

They’ll spin the threads for about 2 days, turning into a cocoon. And after staying in the cocoon for 10 days, they emerge as a moth.

The forest who is devoted to the water. If the King builds reservoirs, I will grow forests.”

The Brahmin priest came and consecrated the land, inviting the forest and mountain spirits to be with this forest. พอมเี ทวดา แตช่ าวบา้ นตอ้ งมีรายได้ ชาวบ้านก็ไมก่ ลา้ ตดั ต้นไม้ มอี าหารเล้ยี งชีพนะ ใชไ่ หมฮะ ใช่ With the guardian angels residing here, the villagers wouldn’t dare to cut the forest down! That’s right. But the villagers need a source of income and food for consumption.

Yes!

There’s a house, farmland for fruits and vegetables, ducks and chicken raising for consumption, as well as monthly income from reforestation.

There are also workshops pointing out to the villagers on the importance of forest conservation, to help to grow more trees to preserve the watershed areas as well as constructing check dams. And at last, the forest in the Forest Loves Water Project returned to being bountiful again with many kinds of plants that help to protect the soil moisture and bring balance to the ecosystem.
