September 26, 2019 Visit of Guagdong Cunjin University’s Executives A group of executives from Guagdong Cunjin University, China, met with the AU executives and management team led by Rev. Bro. Dr. Sirichai Fonseka, Vice President for Student Affairs, to discuss about the academic collaboration between the two educational institutions.







September 26, 2019 AU School of Management and Economics’ Midterm Training To freshen the faculty members and keep them constantly updated with the latest academic trends; boosting their quality teachings and academic excellence performance, the “1/2019 Midterm Training” on a variety of topics was held.







September 30, 2019 Indonesian Students’ Visit to AU School of Architecture and Design A group of about 48 Indonesian students, led by Mr. Fabio Ricardo Toreh, Head of Fashion Lab. Dept., Universitas Ciputra, Indonesia, was on a tour of study, visiting the AU Montfort de Rosario School of Architecture and Design on September 30, 2019. On this very special visiting occasion, further academic collaboration between the two educational institutions was discussed.







October 3, 2019 Singaporean NPO Executives visited A group of executives from the Non-Profit Organization (NPO) Overseas Learning Journey Exploring, Singapore, was welcomed and properly briefed about Assumption University’s current academic affairs, projects and operations by the AU administrators and high-ranking executives at the St. Gabriel’s Hall.











October 16, 2019 AU Specially Organized Lecture on “Lawyer Characteristics in the 21st Century” by H.E. Abhisit Vejjajiva (Former Thai Prime Minister) AU Law students of all levels as well as administrators, faculty members and staff, School of Laws, were highly honored and privileged to hear and be enlightened by a specially organized lecture on “Lawyer Characteristics in the 21st Century” delivered by H.E. Abhisit Vejjajiva, Former Thai Prime Minister (27th Prime Minister).











October 16, 2019 Lecture on “Chinese for Service Industries and Office Management” For the benefits of the AU students from Business Chinese Department, Theodore Maria School of Arts, a special lecture on “Chinese for Service Industries and Office Management.” was held featuring a notable guest speaker with expertise in the related field, Ms. Rujira Panuvisitsaeng, an AU alumna and a flight attendant, Bangkok Airways.











October 19, 2019 Ph.D. eL. M Research Seminar Workshop Graduate School of Advanced Technology Management (GSATM) conducted a Research Seminar. Graduate and Ph.D. students along with faculty members were invited to attend. Dr. Vorasuang Duangchinda, Director, Office of Online Education, Sripatum University, Thailand, spoke about “Disruptive Education: MOOC and Advance Technology in Education.” The second speaker, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ranjna Jindal, Program Director, International PhD Program in Environmental & Water Resources Engineering, Mahidol University, Thailand spoke about the “Scientific Research Methodology”.











October 21, 2019 National Nurses’ Day Marking the National Nurses’ Day, the AU Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science organized the exhibition commemorating the birthday anniversary of Princess Srinagarindra “the Royal Grandmother.” showcasing the exhibition showcasing the Royal Grandmother’s sacrificial works and life, her highly valuable contributions to the country, her tireless support and wholehearted commitments to the medical activities.











October 21- 26, 2019 IAM 9 in Tokyo Apart from gaining insights into education landscape and business practices in Tokyo, IAM 9 enjoyed visiting; checking out the renowned tourist attractions namely SENSO- Ji temple, Tokyo Sky Tree and Odaiba.







October 25, 2019 Meeting (No. 3/2019) of Council of the Graduate Studies Administrators of Thailand (CGAT) AU Graduate School of Business hosted the Annual Meeting 3/2562 for the CGAT on 25th October 2019 to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of 50th anniversary of AU. Rev. Bro. Dr. Sirichai Fonseka, Vice President for Student Affairs, delivered an opening welcome address on behalf of the President of AU and the keynote speech on the “350 years of Gospel in Thailand and the Educational Development.”
