TENNIS & SQUASH TENNIS CAPTAIN’S REPORT SQUASH CAPTAIN’S REPORT The past 2 years have been anything but easy, especially The past year in squash has been quite an experience. This did not take away from the wonderful, fun filled Rand leagues. We did however enter teams into various festivals year we had as a team. that took place and had some great results. In May our senior team: Kim Fine, Isabell Domiter, Marina Da Costa and Gabriella Congratulations goes to Samantha Mills on receiving her Provincial Berimbau played the East Gauteng Inter High tournament. Colors as well as Half School Colours, to Olivia Teeling for her Half School Colors and Megan Webber for her Full School Colors. Our junior team of Hannah Crafford, Celeste Matsaudza, Talia Farinha adfasf and Megan De Graff won the junior section of this tournament. A special thank you to: Very well done ladies! - Mrs Lubbe for always being there for the team and for finding us games to play, We played a friendly match against Parktown Girls High in September - Coach Nick and Coach Pano, for making incredible progress which both first and second teams won convincingly. This was with the team, followed by the St Dunstan’s festival in September and the Catholic - Megan Webber (Vice-Captain) for making my term as Captain School festival a week later where our team. one I will always remember, - Mr Loring and Mr Sandwell for making squash a possibility for I'd like to extend a huge thank you to Mrs Adams and Mrs Evans for our team during this pandemic. their continued support of the tennis team. Our school training would not have been possible without you. As this year draws to a close, I can confidently say that the squash team of 2021 has grown stronger as a family, and has finished this The tennis team has been my second family for the last 5 years and I season off strongly with two wins! am so lucky to have shared some of the best memories with all of you girls, from ordinary school matches to Sun City and ISSF tours. Your Captain I know the tennis team will continue to make St Dominic’s proud and Onalenna Mokoto hold its name high. I wish you all the best for your years of tennis to come. Your Captain Isabella Domiter Karabo Maluleka (Grade 11), Celeste Matsaudza (Grade 9) and Hannah Crafford (Grade 8) have been selected to play in the Gauteng East Inter-Provincial Tennis team.
