Head Boy Speaks “ I am a leaf, the world is a tree I am a droplet the world is the sea I shall rise and brightly shine After all, this world is mine”“You can’t cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water.” Nayan Mehta Class – XII SciYou have to act responsibly and make things happen. Responsibility yieldsmaturity, which is the anchor that holds use to our roots and guide us to a just and moral life.Everything starts from a scratch and it is most important not to overlook that. What led me intoa position of leadership is not only a charge given but also the grooming which follows it. SISgives everyone a chance to grow and come out with their talents this is the biggest advantage ofour school. The environment is one of the support and encouragement that ultimately leads toachievement. It seems like yesterday even I was entrusted with this responsibility but when I sitback and count. I realize that one year has gone by. This year has been very eventful. In aposition of liberty. I got to know a lot about the functioning or our school, how to deal withvarious situations. I realized my potential and most importantly the short comings of our systemand a leader’s limitations what I believe has been of great use is that I’ve learnt how to copewith differences and keep pushing on.I would express my sincere thanks to Principal Sir and all the teachers for having faith in meand being my strength. I would like to think the entire student fraternity of SIS Jodhpur for theirco-operation, which has helped us to so as new heights p. s. ‘never give up’.Thank You “Vision is the art of seeing, the invisible.”

Head Girl SpeaksWhen the prestigious position is bestowed, one fails to comprehend in thosemoments of joy and happiness, the magnitude of responsibility that goesalong with it. The path ahead in not strewn with roses alone. We have hadour share of that as well. We had to encounter many obstacle and manyimpediments and also harsh criticism, but to go ahead with sincerity anddevotion is the essence of leadership. I still remember the day – when I wasappointed as the head girl of the school. The joy, the first satin feel of themehroon sash, the gleaming badge and the extreme honour. I still full shortof words and vocabulary to express that ecstatic feeling. My spirits soared Diksha Shresthhigh with elation and joy. My thoughts of joy were intermingled with fear, Class – XII Scidoubt and anxiety. But, I swore to keep aside all my doubt and fears and towork persistently for the achievements of our goals, it was my aim never to let down theconfidence and faith of our beloved Sanskarian family, who have helped us to go ahead andmake the impossible, I’m possible. It’s difficult to express in mere words how it feels to becalled the Head Girl of SIS. The post that taught me to respect authority yet make myself heardand understood. My character and personality have undergone transformation. Lastly, I wouldlike to convey my sincerest thanks to Principal sir, teachers and the administration forconsidering me worthy of this prestigious post. A profuse word of thanks to all my dear andrespected teachers and parents, who helped me nurture my abilities making me live up to theexpectations of this position and also for guiding me at every point. I would also like to deeplythank all my fellow prefects who put in full team effort and were supportive in all endeavors. Iwould fail in my duty in my duty if I do not thank all the students for their cooperation, needand grateful compliance. These memories will be forever etched deeply in memories and heart.I wish to my express my gratitude to the entire school, by always practicing “Service beforeself” wherever I go.As I stand at the end of one path and on the verge of entering another one.I wonder how I should bid ‘goodbye’ to my ‘Alma Mater’And yet I believe ‘adieu’ it shall never be… because as long as I live, the memories shall livewith me. “Where there is love there is life.”

GOD IS PARTIALGOD, who is always defined as the one, who provides one and all witheverything one desires, without pleading or even asking. But this definitionis cent percent INCORRECT because the so called God, many times, doesn’t provide even the required. People say, that we are rewardedaccording to the work we do and there is no one who gets anything withoutworking for it.. But what about the ones who are born with horribledestinies to live with .Nobody desires to live in such condition .IT is thevery beloved God , who makes them suffer , suffer to extremes .My mum ,once said , happiness and sadness , ,move together , no one gets Aakanksha Singh Raghavjust one of them, there are equal doses of each of them , this Class – XII Scimight be a truth to her but I’ve never witnessed anything suchin my life till date .And the truth is that , God rebserves happiness for some favorites , sadnessfor some whom he dislikes and even the WORST for them whom he regrets having created .I’m not challenging his existence but just waiting for him to prove his existence worth…God is UNDOUBTEDLY partialFriction..! Friction is not so highLike a push or a pullFriction is a force Like an ice skating rink Poonam SiyagAnd a stretch or a twist Class – XII SciWhich we know of course Where the skates canFriction is worse flyWhen the surface is roughUseful for roads, It’s crashing quit a lot The marbles getting not…Shoes and other stuff“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”

DisciplineThese are concepts,As old as man,The earth and the planets,For old, child and woman,For youth, bird and animal,Discipline is necessary to be stable,All education is useless, Pankaj SolankiThe personality is useless, Class – XII SciThe money as well as property is useless,When a person is discipline less,Discipline starts from home,It is a guide of life,It applies in class room,It is a guardian of life,It is training inward,It is training outward,Great people’s virtue is discipline,Wise man preach discipline,Great man practice it,While fools defy it.The freedom of nation can be safe,Only when we learn a lesson of discipline,Due to not understanding,We fail to learn important thing,It is a condition of progress,It is also a key to success“In the practice of tolerance, one’s enemy is the best teacher.”

Slow and steady wins the race. Self confidence is the most important aspect of life. Don’t lose it, if you want to survive happily. Even a stopped clock shows the right time twice. Improve your thinking to get the rightenvironment. How can decision making be improved? The optimal moment to address the question of how to improve humandecision making has arrived. Thanks to 50 years of research by thejudgment and decision making scholars, psychologists have developed a Prachi Joshidetail picture of ways in which human judgment is bounded. This paper Class XI Sciargues that the time has come to focus attention on the search forstrategies that will improve bounded judgment because decision makingerrors are costly and are growing more costly. Decision makers arereceptive and academic insights are sure to follow from research animprovement strategies, this paper organizes the existing literature pertainingto improvement strategies, highlighting promising directions for futureresearch.People put greate trust in their intuition. The past 50 years of decision making researchchallengers that trust. A key task for psychologist is to identify how and in what decision“The journey of a thousand miles begins, with a single step.”

making situations people should try to move from inviting, emotionalthinking to more deliberative, logical thinking. The more that researchesunderstand the potentially harmful effects of some biased decision making the more importantit is to have empirically better decisions. We organize the scattered knowledge that judgment &decision making scholars amassed over several decades about how to reduce biased decisioinmaking .“A Book”You know it so well, how to dissolve into me.How to make me think like you.You are not only a medium for me, to travel into an other world,But you are the world itself.Because when I speak to you, you reply me back in my mind. Not by any verbal or written medium, but directly by the invisible strings. And these invisible strings between us,Keep on getting shorter as I flip my fingers over your pages. Geeta MuthaThe feeling can’t be defined, when I reach the end of your meaning. Class XBecause that moment makes me ‘happy’-as I’ve fully known you, but it even makes me want to ‘cry’,As after it you’ll be kept on my shelf...My heart gets ‘liquefied’ and then breaks; due to the grief of missing you.But how can someone break liquid into pieces? It’s the same way how someone can’t describe the feeling when one finishes a book “Success is a journey, not a destination.”

A Warrior’s HeartA warrior’s heart is like a fire! So, a young girl, take care!Fire can extinguished by,Or can scorch, beware!A warrior’s heart is like a knife! So, a young girl, take care! For a knife can blunted be,Or can cut, beware! Einstein was wrong? Impossible! That was the reaction of physicists around the world when they heard thatexperiments in Switzerland indicate that Einstein’s theory of relativitymight be wrong. Since 1905, when Einstein declared that nothing in theuniverse could travel faster than light, the theory has been the bedrock ofmodern physics. Indeed, most of our high-tech wizardry depends on it.Well, the latest experiments at the largest particle accelerators in theworld, based at CERN, outside Geneva. Physicists fired a beam ofneutrinos (exotic, Switzerland to Italy, over a distance of 454 miles. Muchto their amazement, after analyzing 15,000 meitrinos, they found that Snigdha Chhanganithey traveled faster than the speed of light – 60 billionths of a second Class Xfaster, to be precise. In a billionth of a second, a beam of light travelsabout on foot. So a difference of 60 feet was quite astonishing. Cracking the light barrierviolated the core of Einstein’s theory. According to relativity, as you approach the speed oflight, time slows down, you get heavier, and you also get flatter (all of which have beenmeasured in the lab). But if you go faster than light, then the impossible happens. Time goesbackward. You are light than nothing, and you have negative width. Since this is ridiculous, youcannot go faster than light, said Einstein. The CERN announcement was electrifying. Somephysicists burst out with glee, because it meant that the door was opening to new physics (andmore Nobel Prizes). New, daring theories would need to be proposed to explain this result.Others broke out in a cold sweat, realizing that the entire foundation of modern physics mighthave to be revised. Every textbook would have to be rewritten, every experiment recalibrated.Cosmology, the very way we think of space, would be forever altered. The distance to the starsand galaxies and the age of the universe (13.7 billion years) would be thrown in doubt. Even theexpanding universe theory, the Big Bang theory, and black holes would have to be re-examined.Moreover, everything we think we understand about nuclear physics would need to bereassessed. Every school kid knows Einstein’s famous equation E=MC2, where a small amountof mass M can create a vast amount of energy E, because the speed of light C squared is such ahuge number. But if C is off, it means that all nuclear physics has to be recalibrated. Nuclearweapons, nuclear medicine and radioactive dating would be affected because all nuclearreactions are based on Einstein’s relation between matter and energy.“If you think you can win, you can win. Faith is necessary to victory.”

BorrowedOf you could sorrow my eyes, for probably a day, you’d know how muchyou’ve been missing all these years of your life – the spot in the schoolroom which remains unlit all the time, but looks like flowing water underthe light house beams at night when sunlight comes filtered through theglass window; that feather that the pigeon had somehow dropped on thatparticular patch of grass where autumn leaves had heaped up; the peeringsunlight in the noon, still capable of gilding the flying birds withperfection; the fibres of the woolen cardigans – how they’ve been knotted Taruna Khatritogether and how is newness shines like freckles; the movement of Class Xfingers – up and down, right and left with painted nails and tanned skin, how they have me sighing. You’ll see the dust in the catering light and study their pattern, likeyou see me doing in the class window. You’d see the sow of non-living things, which doesn’texist literally – but still is capable to hold your gaze, as it hovers in air – you’d gap to the beautyof soft grunge in the morning sky and on the grunt gross underneath the dew. You’d believe thateverything is prone to look beautiful, even the frailest of things – the dust, the ink, the slivers insunlight. You’ll enchant yourself, by saying – “The world was never so amusing as it is today.May be it was my eyes that stung or maybe my mind – but all I know is that now I’m viewingthings like never before. I’m staring into nothing, but the fluttering wings of robin bird isbeautiful; the yawning sun announcing the end of yet another day, is beautiful, that girl on thestreet with nest – like hair, is beautiful; the gauze of cloth people wearing round me, is beautifullife is so complicated, even staring into nothingness till infinity, is beautiful – but right now, theview is great”. Don’t forget to give one any eves back, because I choose to see the world thisway – forever and always.“In the middle of every difficulty, lies opportunity.”

FriendshipLong have you lived and still content to shelter from life’s storms. You cannot name a single friendTo whom your long heart warms. When years have passed and you are old,People will turn and say:“He lived a century, poor soul, who never lived a day.A Promising Solace Kusum Bhattar Class XI fill my dreams and fantasies in small bottles and keep them safe in mydrawer for a rainy day, when things go wrong, I open the drawer, take abottle out and let its essence fill me. It surrounds me like an aura lettingme live a beautiful moment again. There are uncountable bottles in mydrawer, each filled with a pleasant experience. They help me throughdark, lonely and rainy times and give me hope that sun will rise againthrough the clouds stretching its rays as if to yawn and wake from a deepslumber; filling the dark room with its rays peeking from the window silland I will batten in its melodies; let all the darkness fly away and lit every Jayakshi Philipsparticle with its light. I will open the window and let the sun come in, so Class Xthat the room becomes prettier, brighter and happier. As our global communityis forced to reconsider its perspective on human relations, resourcemanagement, ecological responsibility and financial accountability. We arealso facing the prospect of inevitable changes as a result of the systemicfailure of world institutions in securing human dignity, rights, andecological sustainability. Furthermore, due to global economical challenges,we are forced to step backward from the vision of protection of the dignityof humanity and biodiversity of ecology. Computers ImportanceThe computer and its related technologies are now such an integral part ofeveryday life that it must be an ingredient in educating for participation inpresent and future society. For educators it is a tool for lesson preparation:- research information on any topic- find activities to print and use- gather ideas used by other teachers for presenting lessons- using word processing, page layout and presentation software to produceactivity pages and audio/video lesson presentationsThe internet in particular keeps teachers up to date when they join in onforums and blogs about teaching practices etc. Online courses are also Ms. Jaya Panwaravailable for adding to teaching credentials.(This is a boon for those who are not living close enough to a large city Computer Facultycentre where classes, conferences and meetings can easily be attended.)For students, access to computer (and in particular internet technology) at school can be a greatleveler. While most students are comfortable using the computer, those who do not have one athome are at a disadvantage for completing assignments that require research and producing aprinted document. The computer can be a tool for learning in many areas of the curriculum:- math teachers should take advantage of the opportunity to allow students to createspreadsheets to manipulate data- formal teaching in the finer points of using word processing and presentation software toproduce polished presentations of creative writing or research reports would prepare students tomeet the expectations of the business world- music classes can be dynamic when students are given the opportunity to explore compositionusing computer software- learn about varieties of music by listening to files available on the internet- set up pen pals in another city or country for their students to learn communication skills (alsoa great way for students who are learning another language to practice by \"chatting' withanother students.Teachers are constantly discovering new ways to integrate computers into their programs. In today's education the computer has become the new pencil and paper, text book, library andin many cases ....... teacher.“Always look at what you have left. Never look at what you have lost.”

Think Positive, Be OptimisticToday, the world is moving at supersonic speed. Things are changing at afrantic pace. Only razor sharp reflexes can help us respond to each newchallenge and be on the top. We should keep. Our self fighting fit, absorbsevery new idea and be alert to every minute change.Opportunity seldom knocks at one’s door twice. The person who takesmost of the opportunities. When it comes to him ensurily getssuccess. There are many occasions in one’s life when only failures and Ms. Shikha Nigamdissatisfaction are experienced and life seems meaningless. This istime to hold on. We can then bounce back to life, leaving our Chemistry Facultyhesitations, fears and self pity behind. Thus transforming ourselvesinto enthusiastic individual. The ultimate inspiration to get anything done in life is a deadline. That is when you have to dowhat needs to be done. Best way to make our dreams come true is to wake up. It is our attitudethat makes all the difference. We have to have enthusiasm and we have to be able to ‘Self Start’ourselves. We have to listen to our drum beat and march accordingly. It is an important qualitywhich sometimes can even compensate for knowledge and skills.Listen to enthusiastic people. Read motivational and self development books. Be in thecompany of enthusiastic people. One very important thing for enthusiasm is to be sincere inwhatever we do or say. Without sincerity our enthusiasm has no foundation. Our prioritiesshould be decided. Do small, small things beautifully and feel happy about it.“Have confidence that you have done a little thing well,You can do a bigger thing well too!”All this may sound wonderful but extremely difficult to practice. However, the urge to pull onshould come from within us. The best teacher in life is one’s our self and the best experiencecomes from one’s error. Cheerful, positive attitude can indeed do wonders and problems can beeasily overcome through positive attitude a well known English proverb says, “Rememberwhen everything seems lost, the future remains.”So, always be optimistic in life. To lose hope is to lose the war even before it began. Positive“Leadership means doing what is right when no one is watching.”
