The whole event turned out to be full of knowledge and fun and colours. It imparted values and was different from any other event or programme. The main motto of the event was to let the children barn every possible aspect of

environment protection and conservationand their duties and until and unless, they know its importance, they can never beexpected to care of it.The event culminated with a pledge which was taken by allthe students and teachers to try their best in taking care ofnature and spreading the same among all.Green Day celebrations are sure to turn out fruitful for oneand all, because educating the kids ensures a better presentand a better future to!

Drawing and Painting CompetitionStudies are important. Oh Yes! They are. But art has got a place of its own. And of course it isfilled with enjoyment and fun. It’s the kind of activitystudents are always up for. A lot many students had participated in the Drawing and Painting competition. While the non participants pursued victory in the outside lawn, the participants moved their pencils and spilled their minds on the fibers of plain sheets. The topics were different for different groups – for kids was ‘Favorite cartoon character’, forthe ascending group, it was ‘Landscape’ or ‘Market Scene’.

While for the juveniles it wasabout saving tree/ water/environment. The time durationwas enough. In fact, for thosewho needed - more time was provided. To have afew hours with pastels and paint brushes.Dozens of sheets were transformed into colourfulart forms! And with colours resting in our minds, completed our painting which turned out to besuch pretty scenes!

Spic Macay Presentation – Interaction WithTeejan BaiMesmerizing… That was what it was. Couldn’t get my eyes off her and the first word was ‘Wow!’ Even at the age of 56, Teejan Bai looks so amazing, is so damn colourful and best part is her simplicity. She has no celebrity attitude, no demands for any extra special treatment like any international celebrity which she already is. She is a true woman of beauty + emotions + strength + willpower + inspiration and above all, the determination to stand out victorious even through the worst. There was not even atinge of any fake expression that she is a star. Herlanguage, style, expressions, everything was like any other Chhattisgarhi woman. Inspite ofbeing aware of the fact that there is no one in the world like her, sheremained down to earth and wished to remain the same forever.Teejan Bai presented a colourful performance full of expressions. Herperformance was different yet entertaining. Students enjoyed a lotwith all the vocal and non-vocal expressions of Teejan Bai.Spic Macay make presentations on regular basis in SanskarInternational School.

School Picnic As perfect as a picnic could be, the school had a trip to a nearby town, Balotra. The two and half hours that the students spent in the bus to reach there, were all passed out by songs, munching of chips andother eatables. After reaching there, the students as well as the teacher were bewitched by the beauty of the resort they were taken to, “View Valley Resort”. After eating theirbreakfast, children enjoyed the rides. A few wereseen screaming in the ‘Columbus’, some others beingtwisted in ‘Wacky Swings’.Then the students relaxed in the coolness. After thelunch, a few games were played, which was followed by horse and camel rides. After the ‘fun stuff’, the children were taken to a Jain Sthanak, where they were preached by one of the renowned ‘Acharya’.As the dusk fell, children got tea and coffee with some refreshments.Soon they were back at school where their parents came to receive them.

UDAI DIWASSanskar International completed successful 8 years on 23rd Aug’12 in Jodhpur city. Celebration was must like we have been celebrating since the very first anniversary, this time it was no different.Only one thing served as an obstacle. “Rain”Whole stage was prepared in the outside lawn, butunfortunately - it turned out to be the day it rained themost these monsoon days. Never mind, the celebrationcontinued in the Junior theatre. ‘Saraswati Vandana’ wasperformed by the girls of class 9th and 10th. And was itBewitching? Of course.Okay the space was less, okay the rain made everything clumsy. But when there divine musicfalling on to your ears and the smell of wet soil entering your soul with every breath you inhale – how can you complain? Speeches were delivered, photographs were clicked, and cake was cut. And thus the day ended, withanother memorable event with beauties and flaws of itsown.
