Dear  Dad    It is so nice here in China!! Did you know China’s  real name is the People’s Republic of China. The  population is 1,415,045,928. China is a communist  country and their national animal is the giant  panda. China and the U.S are trying to make a  vaccine for Covid-19. China has buildings over 4,00  years old like the Great Wall of China. Chinese  technology also helped create TikTok. The other day  I had ramen from a place called LanZhou Ramen.  On Saturday I had some raw sushi that was not  cooked. It was really good!!!I love being here and the  people here are so nice.! I wish you could come with  me. How is work going and how is your life? Tell my  mom that I said hi and the fish I miss you all  dearly. Love you.    Sincerely,  Aaron Ross

Dear  Evan    As you know last week I traveled to Japan. It's  been a wonderful trip so far. I went to see the  sea of Japan. It was so beautiful! Later I went  to this amazing restaurant! They had a sign  outside stating all of the famous people who had  dined there! Crazy right? This morning I drove  up Mount Fuji with some other tourists on a bus.  It was hands down the best thing i've done here  so far. I miss you and I can't wait until I get  back!    Your sister,  Amina

Dear  Grandma mary jane    Hey grandma I’m in Japan, and we saw many  amazing things. Some of those things were  temples and monuments with amazing  architecture. The Sea of Japan was beautiful  and it was very nice. The flowers were amazing  and the food was the greatest thing I had ever  had. (Sorry grandma)It was amazing. The only  thing I would have changed was that you would  have been there with us.    Sincerely,  Axel Christenson

Dear  Mr.Bruh    I’m sending this message from Rebun Island In Japan. It's very beautiful and  the mountains have never ceased to amaze me. I’m staying at a Ryokan hotel, a  hotel with a traditional japanese style. Tatami -matted rooms and shared  baths. It’s so different from our regular rooms in America but I’ll miss it when  I’m gone. I went to the Momokawa Rock Observatory t he day before, there's a  short 4 minute hike up to the observatory and you can see all the islands and  mountains. My friend who went with me went up the Motochi Lighthouse to get  a better view and according to him it’s a better view, he recommends it. Today  we just went to an Onsen. An onsen is a communal Japanese bath spa with  hot spring water. The one we went to was outdoors but there are some indoor  ones. We are handed a robe but need to enter the bath with no clothes. The  baths are separated by gender. It was so relaxing but my friend couldn't go in  because tattoos weren’t allowed and he had a tattoo of his dog on his shoulder.      Sincerely,  Bemnit Teketsel    PS you really should have  come this time, we had a free  ticket.

Dear  Mom,    I have just arrived in Tokyo. The beauty is  beyond anything I have ever imagined. There are  so many restaurants on the edge of lovely little  rivers. So many fishing boats in the calm waters  of the Sea of Japan. The food in Japan is not  near the same as America’s. The food in this  place is unique yet amazing. The pretty nature of  this country is beyond anything I have seen In  america. While America is great(ish), It does not  even compare to Japan. I have enjoyed, and  learned many things about Japan, It is definitely  an amazing trip.    Sincerely,  Ben Sears

Dear  Gramma ,    You would never believe some of the amazing things I  have seen here in Jaipur, India! There are 3.1 million  people living here. Can you believe that? We have  gotten to see so many amazing places , but I think  some of my favorites were the Hawa Mahal and the  Hanuman Ji temple in east Jaipur. The Hanuman Ji  temple is a Hindu temple to which many Hindus  pilgrim to bathe in its sacred springs. Our trip  started in Bangladesh, near the bay of Bengal. From  there we traveled north west to Jaipur. Tomorrow we  will head into Nepal to see the Himalayan mountains  and to see the Boudha Stupa, a huge Buddist temple.    Love,  Elizabeth

\\  Dear  Maia and Ellie    I am writing to you from Shanghai which we  arrived at a little over a week ago. The flight was  15 hrs and 50 mins without any stops. Nina was  driving me crazy the whole way there (little  sisters). The buildings are all so different and  beautiful. My favorite is the Oriental Pearl  Tower. It’s actually the 6th highest building in  the world! If you look on the front of this  postcard it’s the one that had the 2 big purple  balls as the structure of the building. One at the  top, one at the bottom. I have to admit I knew  that Shang-hai was the most populous city in  China, but I didn’t know there would be this  many people! Everywhere I go the sidewalks are  packed with people going to and from work, and  rushing to do who knows what. The weather is  perfect here. In Georgia I am used to it being  humid and hot but here the average annual temp  is 61 degrees fahrenheit. I wish you were here!

Another reason why I love the city is because at  night when it's dark the lights of the building  turn on and the whole city kind of looks like an  amusement park! The place where we’re staying  at is pretty much right on the Yangtze river  which is a wonder to behold. Something that I  find interesting is that monsoons and typhoons  (in summer and autumn) ar common. I miss you  lots! Can’t wait to see you again!      Sincerely,  Emlen, your favorite  cousin.
