CHIEF EDITOR’S NOTE Hello All, Welcome to the first edition of Tridesta Magazine! I am overwhelmed to be part of the school Magazine. It was a unique experience for me. I am indebted to Principal Ma’am for being instrumental in its publication. I am thankful to the student editor who had extended full corporation right from the beginning. The time spent by students in school is the most memorable and special moment, now online lecturers are really challenging for both students as well as teachers. Dear children, school life plays a pivotal role in learning lessons in life which will enable you to face this fast moving world. I hope that your parents would also agree to this. To keep oneself abreast of all the changes in the socio- economic conditions-schooling is a must. Editor in Chief Mrs. Rasvinder Singh Coordinator 3
FROM THE DESK OF THE EDITOR As the saying goes “mind like a parachute works best when opened.” Welcome to the first edition TRIDESTA of St. Wilfred’s School. We are really proud and exuberant to acclaim that we are ready to bring out the yearly issue, which is going to surely unfold the unravelled world of the most unforgettable and precious moments. The humble initiative is to set the budding minds free allowing them to roam free in the realm of imagination and experience to create a world of beauty in words. We have been given a chance to reflect and introspect and most of us have used it wisely. This magazine is a record of our sentiments throughout the lockdown, some deal with emotions like angst, happiness or hope while others explore the fantastical and the magical side of our creativity. Nothing can encompass and convey our emotions better than our art. Thus, this collection embodies our passion for our world and the people in it, our animosity towards the greed of our kind, our mixed feelings towards COVID-19 and our compassion for Nature’s creatures. I am thankful to our Principal Ma’am for entrusting us with the responsibility of editing. Editor Sparsh Singh XII (Science) 4
