Technical Training Steer Compensation Maximum: A machine parameter. This is an adjustable percentage value by which the DCON drive output is adjusted based on the Steer Sensor input. Default Value = 150%. Adjustable range = 100 to 175%.(only on 69DC models) Steering Boost%: A machine parameter. This is an adjustable percentage value by which the MC Throttle output is boosted when the Steer Left and Right functions are engaged when the PCON Drive Speed Signal is outside the PCON Drive Joystick Deadband Value. This training manual and the information contained within is designed to be used as an aid to a service training course. The appropriate Genie Service Manual should always be referred to when carrying out maintenance or repair procedures DEFAULT VALUE = 10%. ADJUSTABLE RANGE = 0 to 50%. Steering Off Delay: A machine parameter. This is an adjustable system generated timer delay in milliseconds for which the electric motor free-wheels after the de-activation of the steer left and right functions when the PCON Drive Speed Signal is within the PCON Drive Joystick Deadband Value. DEFAULT VALUE = 2000 ms. ADJUSTABLE RANGE = 0 to 10000 ms. Platform Overload Delay: A machine parameter. This is an adjustable system generated timer delay in milliseconds for which a platform overload condition must exist before the ECM shuts down all machine functionality and indicates a platform overload fault. DEFAULT VALUE = 2000 ms. ADJUSTABLE RANGE = 0 to 10000 ms. Note: This parameter should not be changed Drive Direction Delay: A machine parameter. This is an adjustable system generated time delay in milliseconds between changes in the Drive Forward and Drive Reverse directions. DEFAULT VALUE = 10 ms. ADJUSTABLE RANGE = 0 to 10000 ms. Technical Training Drive Joystick High Fault Threshold: A machine parameter. This is an adjustable value in millivolts that defines the absolute maximum value of the PCON Drive Speed Signal from the drive joystick. If the ECM detects a PCON Drive Speed Signal higher than the Drive Joystick High Fault Threshold, it would indicate the signal is shorted out to power or the joystick is faulty. Default Value = 4750 mV. ADJUSTABLE RANGE = 4600 to 5000 mV. Drive Joystick Low Fault Threshold: A machine parameter. This is an adjustable value in millivolts that defines the absolute minimum value of the PCON Drive Speed Signal from the joystick. If the ECM detects a PCON Drive Speed Signal lower than the Drive Joystick High Fault Threshold, it would indicate the signal is shorted out to ground or the joystick is faulty. Default Value = 250 mV. ADJUSTABLE RANGE = 125 to 400 mV. Battery Discharge Table: The Battery Voltage is used as one measure for the definition of percentage of Charge for the BDI. The System Voltage is compared with the values in the Table and interpolated to a 0...100 % Value. Because the discharge curve is non linear a 10 point profiling function shall be used. The Values are depending on the results of discharge tests at different ambient temperatures. It is common method to classify the Voltage value referenced to a single Battery Cell. This makes it generic and usable for different System Voltage. Voltage should be read in the resolution of 1mV and BDI percentages in 1% i.e. 2.122V = 100% 2.103V = 90% 2.083V = 80% 2.060V = 70% 2.040V = 60% 2.020V = 50% 2.000V = 40% 1.970V = 30% 1.943V = 20% 1.918V = 10% 1.750V = 0% Battery Level1: A machine parameter. This is an adjustable value in volts that corresponds to the battery level displayed on the PCON. Battery Level1 is greater This training manual and the information contained within is designed to be used as an aid to a service training course. The appropriate Genie Service Manual should always be referred to when carrying out maintenance or repair procedures than LVI Minimum but less than Battery Levels 2 through 6. THIS SHOULD BE CODED IN SOFTWARE TO PREVENT IT FROM HAPPENING. GR/GS Scissors Default Value = 17.7V GS DC Smart Link Rev.A GS Slab Smart Link 1000 www.genielift.co.uk 6. 5
Technical Training Drive Joystick Deadband Value: A machine parameter. This is an adjustable value in millivolts that defines the Deadband Zone of the PCON Drive Joystick. Default Value = +/- 100 mV from the Drive Joystick Center Value. ADJUSTABLE RANGE = -500 mV to 500 mV. The Drive Joystick Deadband Value needs to be less than Drive Joystick. This training manual and the information contained within is designed to be used as an aid to a service training course. The appropriate Genie Service Manual should always be referred to when carrying out maintenance or repair procedures Center Calibration Range. Drive Joystick Center Calibration Range: A machine parameter. This is an adjustable range in millivolts that corresponds to the allowable Drive Joystick Center Value of the drive joystick. The Drive Joystick Center Value needs to be within the Drive Joystick Center Calibration Range for the system to operate correctly. DEFAULT VALUE = 500 Mv. ADJUSTABLE RANGE = 0 to 1000 mV.
