Compliance report on the Minutes of the Managing Committee Meeting of Delhi Public School, Udaipur held on March 28, 2022 at 12.30 p.m. at Delhi Public School, Udaipur. Agenda – 1: Needs no action. Agenda – 2: Needs no action. Agenda – 3: i. Status of Fee Collection for the session 2021-22. With the continuous efforts of follow-up and counselling provided to parents, school fee collection improved to 95.23% and 94.33%, respectively, for the sessions 2020-21 and 2021-22. ii. Status of Payment of Salaries to teaching staff. As apprised during the last SMC, the payment of the second instalment of the remaining salary payment for the session 2020-21 was already made in the loyalty amount for those teachers who are continuing their services with us during the month of July 2022. iii. Requirement of teachers if any for the session 2021-22 The appointments are made through newspaper advertisements and by the Staff Selection Committee (SSC). The number of teachers appointed was 17 including the appointment of Vice Principal. SMC approved the minutes of the SSC meeting that comprised the appointments on August 4, 2022, and they are enclosed for reference. iv. Approval of the confirmation and resignations of the staff members, if any. The list of resignations and confirmations are submitted to SMC and subsequently approved by them. The qualifications of the teachers are ensured to be as per CBSE by laws and NCTE norms, and those who have not obtained a B.Ed. or equivalent degree are appointed on contractual basis and have also been given a time frame of two years to complete the same. All PRT and TGT teachers are informed via an office order that they must qualify for CTET and RTET exams within one year, of which 20 teachers appeared/cleared for the exams during this session. v. Various events, activities and progress of the school during this year. Needs no action. Agenda – 4: (To note and discuss the progress and future plans for the session 2022-23) i. Establishment of Cambridge International Assessment. 6
As intimated to SMC, the application complying with all the norms was sent to Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) in the month of April 2022 and got approval up to class V. The Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) at DPS Udaipur began in late April 2022 for classes until II. The team handling Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) includes a team of 5 teachers along with a coordinator under the guidance of Vice Principal. During the last SMC, the projected admission count of 30 was committed. Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) began with 24 students ranging from early years to II after following all necessary protocols (CAIE approval, orientation, and so on). For CBSE, a count of 600 admissions was committed by the principal during last SMC where a count of 748 is achieved with collective effort of all the teachers and the management. Agenda – 5: (To note and discuss the board result for the session 2020-21 and Term 1 results for session 2021-22) Students have been falling behind in both classroom learning and writing practise as a result of the pandemic over the last two years. Hence, rigorous writing practise is given to the students of classes IX–XII. Also, special care is taken for the improvement of slow learners and weaker students. Extra classes were conducted with remedial teaching for slow learners in the main subjects. Parent-teacher meetings had been conducted after the half-yearly exams to apprise the parents of their wards’ academic performance and to seek their cooperation during special revision classes for board students who are slow learners. As per 2021-22 board results, the school average of class XII is 80.26 % and for class X it is 79.58%. Agenda – 6: i. To note and approve the Audit accounts for the session 2020-21. As suggested during the last SMC, a descriptive audit report for 2020-21 in the name of DPS is enclosed for the reference. ii. To note and approve the Budget and Fee Structure for the year 2022-23. As instructed by the chairperson, the break-up for all the heads of the budget for 2022–2023 was sent through email dated March 31, 2022. Agenda – 7: Needs no action. Agenda – 8: (Any other point with the permission of the Chair) As advised by SMC, parents are nominated to be a part of SMC. They will be part of various activities of school like fee regulation committee, PTM, etc. The letter for the appointment of Mr. Sanjay Narvaria as Principal was sent to the society as directed by the chairperson and got approval from the chairperson on April 13, 2022. Mr. Sanjay Narvaria joined with the upgraded post of Principal with effect from 1st May 2022. The duly signed copy of acceptance letter was sent to DPS Society by the PVC, DPS Udaipur. As per the suggestion of Dr. Sacheti, a request letter has been sent to Vigyan Samiti for the organisation of medical camps, and we are waiting for their response. Meanwhile, in association with Geetanjali hospitals, dental check- ups were conducted for the students of primary classes at various intervals in the month of August. In association with CMHO, the vaccination drive (doses 1 and 2) for the age group of 12 to 14 was organised in the month of July 2022 for the benefit of students, out of which 95% of students got benefitted. 8
