CHAPTER NINETEEN BATTLE OF THE MIND The mind is just like steering wheel that can guide and direct our lives in a straight and Godly manner or on the other hand, if we have quenched Gods spirit, then our mind will guide our lives in a crooked and ungodly manner. Satan knows the power of the mind in the life of a man therefore his target is not the legs or hands of anyone but the mind. If Satan can lay hold on your mind, he will get control of your entire body. This is the reason the scripture says we should guard our heart diligently so that the enemy will not be able to penetrate. In other words we should work hard to protect our mind. Proverb 4:23: Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverb 4:23: Above all else, guard your heart, for it affects everything you do (LWT). 203

The God of Justice Living water edition says we should guard our mind because it affects everything we do. The state of our heart determines the state of the life we live. You can never be better than the quality of your mind. It is unfortunate that many people work hard to look attractive outwardly but they do not value and protect their minds, emotions and wills. They neglect that which is more important and that is the mind. The quality of your mind determines the quality of life you will live. The Pharisees once asked Jesus while His disciples were eating with unwashed hand. He explained that a clean heart is better than a clean hand because what you eat does not dele or pollutes a man's life but what comes out of the mind. Matt.15:17-20: Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? {18} But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they dele the man. {19} For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: {20} These are [the things] which dele a man: but to eat with unwashen hands deleth not a man. Every evil manifestation that pollutes the body emanates from the mind and for this reason the devil is working assiduously to possess the mind. The greatest battle is in the mind. If you can win the battle in your mind the outward battle will be less to worry about. Once the devil is able to get your heart, he will get everything about you. 2Cor.10:4-5: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through 204

Battle of The Mind God to the pulling down of strong holds;{5} Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. The devil's strongholds are the mind of his victims. He wants to ruin people's life with imaginations, evil thoughts and proud arguments that keeps people from knowing God. It is our duty to put on the whole armor of God to bring every arguments that opposes the truth with rebellious ideas to the obedient of Christ. We must work hard to put on the amor of God in order to bring all evil thoughts, arguments and imagination to the obedience of Christ. The symptoms of a mind that is under satanic attacks Voice in the mind: This kind of voice in the mind may come with the voice of somebody very close to you either your friends, relations or your pastor. Satan uses this kind of voice to deceive his victims and make them suspicious of everyone around them. Lack of peace: Absence of peace of mind is another indication that someone's mind is under attack. When there is no peace in the mind life becomes boring and one will be making mistakes in everything he does. Confusion: One of the symptoms that indicate that one's mind is under attack of the enemy is confusion. That is inability to comprehend and as such making mistakes and forgetting things easily. When the word of God is being preached to them, the devil argue it through their mind and misinterpret it to them so that they will not understand the word of God that would have beneted 205

(Matt.13:15) Insomnia: Is a state of having sleepless night and having wondering heart that makes the mind to travel to so many places and things that are not relevant in order to keep one awake through the night. This symptom if not checked it will make the body system to begin to malfunction which can lead to pains in the heart region, high blood pressure, feeling as if one side of your body want to be paralyzed, mental malfunction and other associated health problems. Severe phobia or Fears: Excessive fear is one of the symptoms of attack of the mind. There is a natural fear which makes one run from danger such as re. But this kind of satanic or excessive fear is cause by unknown things and there is nothing you can do and succeed under the inuence of this kind of fear (Deut.20:1-8). Those that are in this category always have nightmares that often causes them to pray out of fear and be suspicious of everyone and things around them. Multiple or tormenting thoughts: This kind of thoughts comes at random and it is unstable and tormenting. When someone's heart is constantly occupied with evil thoughts is a sign. Thought of evil or wickedness against other people, thought of immorality, death, accident, suicidal thoughts, unbelief ETC. Anxiety: Excessive worry and restlessness of the mind which leads to physical and spiritual immunity break down and once there is immunity break down you become prone to satanic attack and diseases. 206

Battle of The Mind Job 3:25: For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. {26}I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came. When the mind is sick the body automatically will become sick. The mind of job was not at rest neither is it at peace and as such calamity came upon him. Phil. 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Meditate on this scripture always and whatever that is contrary to it in your mind, constantly reject it. PRAYERS 1. CHAPTER TWENTY CHANEL OF BLESSING Blessing means the supernatural impartation of Gods favour. Whenever God wants to make anyone great or wealthy, He blesses him. The blessing of God is not material or physical things. Money, cars, house, promotion, job appointment and all other good things of life are bi-products of God's blessing. It is the blessing of God that produces wealth. When God blesses you, you are bound to be wealthy. Those that are busy pursuing material things are not wealthy because material things itself cannot make one to be rich. Proverb10:22: The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. What makes one rich is the blessing of God and He is the source of blessing. Rather seek God to be blessed than pursuing shadow. Matt.6:33: \"But seek rst the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all 211

The God of Justice these things shall be added to you. Though God is the source of blessing but He will not come down from heaven to distribute the bi-product of His blessing. When God blesses you, you become a living magnet of every good thing that His blessing offers. These good things are channelled to you through fellow human beings. Genesis12:1-2: Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: {2} And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: The Lord said to Abraham, \"I will bless you and make your name great and you shall be a blessing\". The essence of God blessing Abraham is to make him a channel of His blessing to other people. Therefore one's blessing or greatness is tied to someone somewhere. You don't need to envy anybody that is wealthy rather align yourself with them so far the source is not satanic. Many people's pride and envy rub them off the channel of their blessing. Ones you are able to locate your channel of blessing, humble yourself, submit and serve them. Your greatness is tied to your services to your channel of blessing. Elisha submitted and served Elijah and became very great with double portion of Elijah's anointing (2Kings 2:12-15). Money does not fall from the sky; you can only get it through human channel. I have not seen money falling from heaven but God channel it through fellow human beings. 212

Chanel of Blessing The greatness and the wealth of Jacob were tied to Laban. You cannot separate Jacobs's wealth from Laban's house. Though Jacob was blessed by God but the channel of the blessing was through Laban. Genesis 30:42-43: But when the cattle were feeble, he put [them] not in: so the feebler were Laban's, and the stronger Jacob's. And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses. Potiphar and the entire land of Egypt were greatly blessed because they align themselves with Joseph (Gen.39:1-6). Joseph also became prosperous in the house of Potiphar (Gen.39:2) and he became the governor over the land of Egypt (Gen.42:6). We can rightly say that the channel of his greatness was through Potiphar and Pharaoh, king of Egypt. Genesis 41:41-42: And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt. {42} And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hand, and arrayed him in vestures of ne linen, and put a gold chain about his neck; Elijah aligns himself to the widow of Zarephath for his sustenance during the famine when the Lord instructed him to meet her. 1 Kings17:8-9: And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, {9} Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which [belongeth] to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee. 213

The God of Justice Elisha greatness would not have manifested if he had not align himself with Elijah. He served Elijah faithfully and received the double portion of the anointing (2kings2:13-15). God is the one that blesses us but the channel of His blessing is through fellow human beings, therefore one need to maintain a good relationship with people that he/she come across. There are people God sends to us, in order to be channel of His blessings to us but if we are not sensitive enough we may chase them away. I am not saying that we should make friends with everyone that comes our way, hence the scripture says, \"The righteous should choose his friends carefully. For the way of the wicked leads them astray (Prov.12:26NKJ).There are special people God send to us, for a special purpose always be sensitive to locate them. We should not envy those that are successful but rather we should identify with them. There are people when you come in contact with them, your life will change for better. I pray that the Holy Spirit will help us to locate them, in the name of Jesus Christ. You should try to be a blessing to others. If you are not a blessing to others, you cannot be trusted with the true riches. You don't need the whole world to become great, just one person. Pray for God to direct you to the right person that your blessing is tied to. PRAYER 1. I revoke every curse of labouring in vain with the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus Christ. 6. By divine judgment I command every spirit that does not allow money to enter my hand until the one I have is nished, to perish by re, in the name of Jesus Christ. 7. Judgment re of God, destroy every demonic barrier between me and my destiny helpers, in the name of Jesus Christ. 8. Every spirit that uses me to ght my destiny helpers be rooted out of my life by re, in the name of Jesus Christ. 9. CHAPTER TWENTY ONE THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD The Greek word apolutrosis is the word translated to be redemption. It refers to deliverance of Christians from sin and freedom from captivity or a release by the payment of a ransom. The Greek word describes a conqueror releasing prisoners or a master ransoming a slave. Redemption also means to gain or regain possession of something in exchange for payment. The ransom or payment made to gain our freedom was the blood of Jesus Christ. 1Peter1:18-19: Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, [as] silver and gold, from your vain conversation [received] by tradition from your fathers;(19) But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: The ransom or price paid to redeem us was not mere silver or gold but the precious blood of Christ. The blood of Christ is Superior to 218

The Redeemed of The Lord every living and none living thing because it is the life of God hence the scripture says \"as of a lamb without blemish and without spot” The value of the ransom price and the ransomed Christ conception was by the Holy Spirit and not by man (Matt.1:18), therefore the blood that He shed on the cross was not the blood of man but of God. This also means that the life in His blood is the life of God hence Leviticus 17:11, says \"For the life of the esh is in the blood\". This is the reason the blood of Jesus is superior to everything both in heaven, and on earth and beneath the earth. Whatever God is, that is what the blood of Jesus is. This is why no disease, sickness or devil can resist the blood of Jesus Christ. By the quality and the supremacy of the redemption price paid by God, we have been placed in the class of God and belong to Him alone. God gave the totality of Jesus as a ransom price for the redemption of man (Matt.20:28). If someone wants to redeem a slave, he would take something equivalent or a superior slave as a ransom price. What this means is that, if Jesus is God, by the virtue of this redemption, we are gods (John 10:34). \"The price determines the value and the value determines the price\". Ransom from death We have been ransom from both spiritual and physical death through the blood of Jesus Christ. Hosea 13:14: I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy 219

The God of Justice destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes. God predicted that He would redeem us from death in the Old Testament, through prophet Hosea. When God said \"O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction\" He was referring to the destruction of Satan and death on the cross (Hebrews 2:14- 15). Through the sacricial death on the cross, Jesus delivered us from death. 1Cor 15:55-57: O death, where [is] thy sting? O grave, where [is] thy victory? {56} The sting of death [is] sin; and the strength of sin [is] the law. {57} But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Now you have right to life because Christ has given you victory over death. In other words death has lost its power over you. Therefore as you pray today, command every covenant of death over your life to be broken by the blood of Jesus and also command the spirit of death to leave you now. Redeemed from the power of darkness Colossians 1:13-14: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son: {14} In whom we have redemption through his blood, [even] the forgiveness of sins: Paul says that true believers have been transferred from darkness to light, from guilt to forgiveness and from slavery to freedom. In other words we have been rescued from the tyranny of darkness 220

The Redeemed of The Lord and hostile situation. Exactly, what the Lord did in the Old Testament when He delivered the people of Israel (Exodus 6:6; 14:30). We have been delivered from the power of Satan or a rebel kingdom to serve the rightful king. The blood of Jesus also justied us from all offences, making us free from all consequence of sin. When a suspect or an accused is justied in the law court, he will instantly regain his freedom. The chains in his hands will be removed and therefore no law enforcement agent has the right to arrest or accuse him from that moment. Rom. 5:8-9: But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. {9} Much more then, being now justied by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Now, that we are justied by the blood of Jesus, Satan has lost his basis of accusation and oppression over our lives, and as such, \"we shall be saved from wrath through him\". I see the chains break off and all satanic assault in your life destroyed in your life as you apply the blood of Jesus. Rev.12:10-11: And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. {11} And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 221

The God of Justice Through the blood of justication, no more basis for Satan to accuse and oppress you thus the scripture says \"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. We are saved from either the wrath of Satan or God. If you know the importance of this statement \"The redeemed of the Lord\", you will be fearless all the days of your life. It means you have been purchased by God and you belong to Him alone. The price of life has been paid for you, the price to live and not to die. When you understand this and by confessing it \"I am the redeemed of the Lord\" the devil will keep off from you (Ex. 12:13). PRAYER This prayer should be done preferably with communion bread and wine (Blood of Jesus). 1. Father God, forgive me of any sin I have committed that may hinder answer to my prayers, in the name of Jesus Christ. 2. I revoke every curse of labouring in vain with the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus Christ. 3. I am purchased with the ransom price of the blood of Jesus therefore I refused to be enslaved by any force of darkness, in the name of Jesus Christ. 4. I command every mark of satanic ownership in my life to be erased by the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus Christ. 222

The Redeemed of The Lord 5. Whatever that the devil has deposited in my body to reduced my divine status be uprooted, in the name of Jesus Christ. 6. I erase every mark of failure in my life with the blood of Jesus, in the name Jesus Christ. 7. I erase every mark of death in my life with the blood of Jesus, in the name Jesus Christ. 8. I command all satanic authority to be nullied in my life, in the name of Jesus Christ. 9. I bear the mark of redemption in my body therefore my life is untouchable by the enemy, in the name of Jesus Christ. 10. I am justied by the blood of Jesus therefore I am free from all satanic accusation and oppression, in the name of Jesus Christ. 11. I stand under the covenant of the blood of Jesus and I declare the plague of death, diseases and all kinds of evil will pass over me in the name of Jesus Christ. 12. My head has been redeemed by the blood of Jesus therefore wherever and whoever that is trying to exchange my head for death, perish by divine judgment, in the name of Jesus Christ. 13.
